I dont have any shots of it drifting yet because I dont have a photographer to shoot photos for me yet. It is really hard but here is my Skyline R34 Nitro Car.

All of the body work and decals were done by me and my dad. I race at Hobbytown USA in San Antonio, Texas.

Hope you like the pics...

Just because some weirdo has to bring up initial D in every thread ... wow looks like the R32 !! lol nah but o well had to bring up initial d... its becomming a craze.

this is actually something I want to get into myself. I don't really have any idea how to go about it. Would someone care to explain how you go about drifitng a nitro rc car? like what do i need etc... I don't own an rc car yet but I was planning on getting one... so if u could explain like what parts id need in addition to what u build your car from the box itself ( if anything) that would be great. thanks :)

hahaha man dont even get my started about drifting rc cars, i ahs a HPI RS4 all hopped up did a a lil customizing my self and made it rwd hahahaha back in the day

ya,
I have some advice. Good luck drifting nitro. Its way too hard since nitros have a higher cg and not enough low end to keep the tires spinnin. Go buy a tamiya tl 01 xb (rtr) put an esc, better batteries, and like a 15 turn triple motor in it. You want low end power not some super fast top end screamer. You also need to camber camber and more camber in the front. 4 degrees should do it. Here Ill post a link in a second.

btw Im nitroboy24 on the site Im giving you also

Yeah, I'm very proud of that body but it was one of those overnighter jobs. I didnt sleep all night because I was working on it. If I would have taken a week or 2 to do it, it would look infinate times better.

I want to replicate the F&F Supra as close as I can for my next show body.

I made a mistake of racing the Skyline body and took damage all over from being hit by another car and thrown into a pile up.

The wing is a seperate plastic wing, not lexan. It works really good, but cost me like $8. I'll always reuse it though for as long as it lives.

If anybody has pics of their R/C cars, Post em!
We all like a good r/c car or two.

Here's another shot of the Skyline GTR R34 Drifter!!!

....why is there a hole in your windowshield?

and if you take pics of the car from a lower hight, use some action figers, you can make a slide show 2F2F movie! (yey!)

theres a hole for his transmitter, it recieves the signal better that way, unless he has another purpose with that hole, b/c thats what i have with my RS4, but yeah

the hole is for ventilation. When the car is screaming around a corner, the hole is there to pass air through the body faster to cool down the glow engine. There is also one on the rear window and the driver's side window is cut out completely. With no holes, the engine can overheat and turn into a paperweight.

Yes it is a design based off of Brian's car in 2F2F. I decided to added different sponsor logos and more stripes on top and on the rear.

Yes the hole is a vent and so that I can refuel my car.

I'm currently looking into buying a supercharger for my skyline with an intercooler kit.

I'm still working on the drifting it part.
I have turnbuckles to adjust the camber on my car and good hard slicks for rubber.

Any other questions?

Dude,

suck a nut Exhaust_note. I don't care for the damned movie either, but why diss my work? At least I'm doing something more then just drifting a virtual car. The movie sucked but the cars were cool. Lets see someone give you a Skyline from MotoRex decked out with NISMO parts. Will it suck then? I dont think so. So go ahead and talk your trash, because it doesnt matter what anybody says, I'm proud of my car and work. That's all that matters

im not dissing ur work but the car is so ugly, who the hell puts blue racing stripes down a silver skyline, its completley ruined the car - they spent so much money on the detail of the other cars, when the got to the skyline they where out of money and decided to put ugly @ss stripes on it...

y are u dissing drifting on Gran turismo, maybe u should see ur way out of this forum

I aint dissing GT3 Drifting. I do it too, but what I'm saying is that I also do more then just sit and play GT3 all day. Besides, the skyline is Paul Walker's own car, he imported it and had MotoRex tune it for him. The shots where it's racing is all digital effects. Besides who is anyone to say what car sucks? Everybody has their own taste in vehicles and that is the end of it.
