"Vodka with a Spritzer" . . . I am just 15 yrs old. I dont drink.

(Props goes to the person who can figure out, where I got that quote from.)

Líll Wayne's song?? Hick....Hick:cheers:

I always have a sipp of Burn Energy or Monster or Red Bull

Sometimes a beer but when racing the empty beerbottles rise in numbers quickly.....

If you're not an alcoholic, try driving while facing sideways. It makes the whole thing look weird and you make mistakes quite a lot. Tried it with an R8 on Sarthe and was swerving down the whole Mulsanne straight

Every year for New Years, I have some friends over for my GT Drinking and Driving Challenge. The only requirements is you bring your own Designated Driver.

We run the Nurburgring stone sober in an agreed upon car, and after each lap we have one beer. Rinse and repeat until you can't go anymore.

First time we did this, I lopped off 10 seconds off my sober time. It's amazing how fearless you become when you can't stand up, lol.

I DO NOT, however, recommend doing this in real life... unless you're my uncle. He got his 3rd DUI, and was sent upstate for 6 months to detox. During that time, I had (I know, rough life) to drive his '68 convertable Camaro.

I hope I never have to do that again. [/SARCASM]

I have a friend, and his dad after a lot of hard work bought a Ferrari 360 Modena.

I hope he gets arrested for drinking while driving as well, so my pal can invite me to drive the Ferrari.

I have given up on gt5 drink driving after falling asleep ( after a particularly long evening on the beer) during the loading of an online race and being lapped so many times the laughter in my headset woke me up!!!

Drink and drive whilst you are playing online lol, they will think what the and there actually might be a risk of kicking you off

Since we have some very decent beers here in Belgium, I have drunk once while playing GT4. I was crashing all over the place. I guess it is the same anyway with GT5, I should try that though:dunce:

Yes of course it will make a diff :-) . But its also a funny thought. I do find I lay off the booze, almost subconsciously, if I know later one, when the kids are in bed, Im going to be allowed an hour or so. Im not a big drinker, but maybe ill have the one beer instead of the 2 :dopey:

That looks like it might be Eiger Nordwand!

Sometimes I might indulge in some old style Seasonal Event cash grind when getting in from the pub, but forget anything technical like a license gold or an expert seasonal.

I don't remember playing when I got in the other night, but I must have, there was kebab grease on my wheel!

I drink most nights and notice that on the odd night I haven't had a few cold ones my lap are faster and more consistent. When I'm completely sober I find myself being more thoughtful, when I'm slightly inebriated I tend to lose control more often from late braking.

Serious question/topic here.

I like to imbibe a few beers here and there while racing. I've found that just a few will impair my ability to throw down solid lap times. I'll even go off the track on familiar courses and turns.

I've found that this has given me a new found respect for the saying/rule of no drinking and driving.

It seems that just two or three drinks - not really enough for me to feel intoxicated the - is enough for me to lose a second or two per lap. Driving the ring in a group c car can become a downright frustrating exercise.

Has anyone else experienced this?

i drink lots of rum, my game times dont change by much, if anything they get better. i beat the vettle challenge after about half liter of rum....lol

I don't know I don't drink but I was playing with this guy and he wrecked me because of beverages I thought it was funny actually.

We already have this thread! Search and find

It's great that threads like this can be found, but perhaps to others the idea never came across the mind. With that said, some might never search for the topic (even though they would be interested in reading it).

I'm happy someone made this topic, regardless if it was made before.

I believe there is a liter of truth to this.

I am slightly faster when I drink a little, like a shot of rum, not enough to be intoxicated but enough to calm me down and just drive.

On weekends I drank a bottle of wine while playing GT5 (or any other game). Given that this is a game I don't keep track if I do better or worse while driving (or slashing monster or shooting zombies or fighting WWII) In RL I don't drink and drive.

I use to drink while playing socom and I noticed I didn't give a ****. In gt5 I assume I would drift all my cars around corners because it's more fun than slowing down for turns

Never did it, maybe I'll try it. Other things slow me down.. stuff I rarely partake in, but when I do I can't drive fast for shiznit. Hint- it's green and sticky.

dont pick your nose and eat buggers.....ewww two hands on the wheel

Rip Ryan Dunn. Dont drink n drive.

Just looked up him up. Feel sorry for his friends and family. Call me an A$$H**E but I don't feel that sorry for him. Shouldn't have been drinking and driving. He also killed someone else. I really never feel sorry for people who drink and drive, and wouldn't expect anyone else to if I ever did.

OT: OP, don't go online lol. Saw one dude who said he was drunk, started swaying all over the road. Took me an entire lap to pass him!

What about you two drunk ducks video tape yourselves playing GT5 while drunk. If it isn't too much drinking to ask for a laugh or two?
