Project DriveClub Racing 👍:):cheers:

Indeed, the Drift events in the new pack are brutal, to say the least. Each of them took me like 30 tries to get 3 Gold Stars. So yeah, I feel your pain, guys. :lol:
And another thing... Is it weird that racing with the bikes (specifically in Loch Duich) reminds me a little bit of the Manx TT? Not the Sega Saturn game, but the actual event. Certainly I wouldn't mind seeing the Snaefell Mountain Course making an appearance in another racing game - who knows, maybe Driveclub itself? :D

Two comments about this:

1) I've often thought the Snaefall Mountain Course needs to be in Driveclub, as well as other games, and...

2) Manx TT for the Saturn is an epic game. One of the best bike racers ever, though that isn't really a ringing endorsement for the game since most bike racers tend to suck.

Really tempted to pick this game up soon. Could someone give me a brief insight into how this game feels on the wheel?

As many people have said before this game is best played on a DS4. Also just a warning if you looking for simulation type physics of project cars you won't find it here. Its arcade with simulation elements.

I enjoy it a lot with the wheel (T300). But it does take some skill to compete with controller divers, because with the wheel the game does not help you with for example catching over-steer. You'll have to do it yourself. The force feedback is good enough to get a decent feel for each individual car's behavior.

From the pictures that where released yesterday:

<Speculation mode on>

Aston Martin -> Italy (Florence)
Bike -> UK (London)
Jaguar -> Scotland (Edinborough)
AMG -> Germany (Berlin/Cologne)

<off>

Probably all wrong but what are your guesses?

Well it could be that they will fit into existing locations but I think I read something about new locations a while ago on twitter. Italy was already "shown" in some screens a long long time ago.

Just wonder how EVO is going to shape this. Really hope for a second season pass and during the second part of 2016 some dirt tracks :)

to add to the speculation....

Nice idea: thing is, architecture is something I studied once upon a time and that building nearest on the phone doesn't have a bay window, nor pillars either side of the main door.

Also, many cities had similar architectural styles going on from the Renaissance onwards (architects tended to be inspired as much by each other as by antiquity) so it's still open I think.

Aaaaaand I've just picked this up; can't play it until Christmas, though! :p

Also, is the season pass really that cheap?! I've never seen such value for money.
Yup, originally it was £20 or so and even that was very inexpensive considering what we got.

Nice, it has car sounds in the background after activating it. ;)

I want that as a gameplay and photomode filter!

@MeanElf I agree with your that there are differences and I think from 4 pictures without serious indications it could be any location we would be looking at. Speculation is part of the fun :D

Intriguing! I was hoping for city tracks!
Hoping for night races that are not pitch black.
Hoping for colorful reflections as you pass tall buildings.

I think there will be no new locations, but existing locations will get city tracks.
True, they did say tracks...which leads me to speculate that we will be getting two city tracks for Scotland, two for Japan, leaving a rolling update programme of city tracks for the other locations across 2016.

Also, McLaren have chosen their top ten pictures for 2015:

Essentially: @23RL23 @x3remes @kieran_30 @DCTorque99 @lorsteibel @Nick_Baker777 @Bebomac5 @Kenji_Law @_GAMER_PS4_ Kie seems to have the lion's share.

I downloaded the static driveclub theme and I wasn't sure if I want to keep that or the Rachet and Clank theme since I pre-ordered it on my ps4 but the driveclub' theme is much better.

I'm going to have to see if I can disable the car noises on the theme - it's like living on a busy road hearing that lot all of the time...

Pretty neat otherwise.

To me, it sounds like I am playing project cars at the background.

You can turn off the sound in the settings somewhere. At least, you can with other themes. There's a bit called something like "system music" that you can just disable.

I did it because the first theme I got was ok, but had dodgy techno music, and then I also got sick of the background music to the Order 1886 theme I've had for most of my PS4's life.

Edit: That Order 1886 theme is still the best one I've seen. It just has character, looks cool, and has a lot going on. That Driveclub one may be the one to finally dethrone it though.
