I think that Evolution could make sales increase big time if they make the permanent price £20, sorts out the PS-Plus moaners and generates even more interest. Not like most retailers aren't already dropping it's price massively.

Lots of game releases from Sep-Oct have had price drops time to time.

The only place asking for full price are the always over-priced GAME stores in the UK, every other retailer seems to have the game at £27ish.

Judging by the PS+ moaners on FB the game could be £1 and they still wouldn't buy it, because they were promised a free version...

Frankly, I think it's current natural price is more than good, at least ES and Sony get reasonable sales returns for taking this risk and producing something quite special.

I can understand the disappointed people waiting for the PS+ Version but to be honest: That version only includes India and 10 cars, who really want this? Driveclub was already in a really good PS Store sale (plus at the time there was a 10% discount voucher for the online cart available) and like said above, the game isn't that expensive anymore:

I think that the people who were really interested in the game already bought, borrowed or tested it somewhere, SharePlay for example. Or they've testet it first, then borrowed and finally purchased it afterward. :p

I bet 90% of the people today still yelling bad at the broken promise and the PS+ Version release, also says how crap this game is or something like that after the free version is released. Stating "as a matter of principle".

:lol: that phrase does get bandied about a fair amount, usually along with something like: '...I'll see what the PS+ version is like, then buy it second hand...' Yes, very principled indeed...
 
Well, I suppose those are all valid points. Although most of my friends were skeptical of the game at first but by luring them in with a chance to join the Blue Shellers they cracked and bought the PS Plus version. :lol: More money for Evo. :p

Gt6 has updated to 1.16 this week or last week and it added Midfield(track from gt4 and gt psp), B spec, and another vgt. It sucks that I stop playing gt6 to play this game because I like the vgt. But the cars in this game is more realistic and just as good.

Yep, I know there was the B-spec and Midfield update last week, but I do believe that there has been talk of possibly Spec II and course creator this month.
 
I'm guessing that single player replays and private lobbies will be in the next update.

Yeah, those accolades go deep and for those willing to chase them down to completion, will keep us busy for quite some time...possibly even as much as a year.

Though, having said that, with the private lobbies just around the corner, maybe people will get through to that level a lot more quickly.
 
@MeanElf I am too, I am not looking for slow motion and filters and that deep of a replay system, but hopefully they nail the camera angles along side the HUD and UI.
 
Hopefully the replay camera angles are like a race broadcast on the circuits and not those horrendous Hollywood chase style angles that Codemasters uses...

There seemed to be a kind of 'frame-forward' progression in the demo they were using back when Japan got leaked - I'm mostly nervous about that really. I do hope it will still be there, due to the pain of trying to catch the optimal moment in any picture: exhaust flare, that moment of total airborne serenity and the like.

It shouldn't be long though, hopefully sometime next week (at a guess.)
 
My PS4 is basically a Driveclub machine right now, its the only game I've felt the angling to play quite a lot(aside from story based games and LBP) so I am going to try and max out every accolade because why not! :D Surprised at how fast my XP seems to be going up after hitting Level 50, currently at around 29 million points.
