Hi guys just thought I'd see if anyone's interested but I've been making my helmet design with several variations and feel pretty happy with anything I do with it.
Was wondering if anyone would like their own version, so if you message me about the colours, the sponsors maybe initials and number like I have on mine, or things like that I'd happily make one up for you to download and use

Hi guys! Can I request some classic driver suits via this thread - if I am in the wrong place, please point me in the right direction! I have looked in many galleries on GTSport and not seen suits which are really appropriate for use with the 1950's cars.
Mike Hawthorn (1958 F1 World Champ and 1955 Le Mans winner) - green jacket, white shirt, black bow tie, white trousers, blue socks and dark brown shoes. Plain black helmet with a white stripe just above the visor (sadly no historic helmets in GTS).
Juan Fangio - pale blue open necked short sleeved shirt, cream trousers, blue socks, black shoes. Brown helmet.
Stirling Moss - white open necked shirt or white overall with small Avon or Dunlop logo. White helmet.
Below I think in this race Hawthorn was presenting the trophies (out due to injury - burns) to his best friend Peter Collins and Stirling Moss in helmet,

Anyone here experiencing a glitch where the driver isn't in your design
I did the FIA races last night and the cut scene at the end had some stock character design
When it went through the FIA intro it showed my helmet design but my driver in the car wasn't wearing it

This was corrected some time ago!
You are not allowed to wear your own designs in FIA races now so it will use the official country colours or team colours.
The thumbnails in game were never changed so sometimes it shows the helmet other times it does not but it correctly shows the stock outfit on the driver.

Well that's rubbish
The heck does it matter in FIA races when your at home
They can barely see the driver anyways and my car has its own design so why do they care

Unfortunately I have no talent in designing suits and helmets.
This is my current outfit (the poor GT guy in my game have to wear it since week one in GTS....)

Wanted to incorporate some classic design elements from the 90s helmet designs but went with a block shape instead of round, nod to by background with the side elements and made it a bit more "modern"

I've just made a replica of Earl Bamber's firesuit and helmet from the 2018 24 Hours of Spa (to go match the livery I made as well). Here is the real deal:
