I agree that certain information displayed can certainly be annoying but instead of choosing what those particular "bits" are for everyone, they should simply allow players to choose what they want displayed. .....perhaps even where on the screen as well. Some of those things you say are a pain, I actually would want on my screen and vice versa.

....but yeah, I agree in part.

That's what boggled me too. He doesn't want control over his car, but wants to see the positions.

What if he never switched to other options? Maybe not even know they exist lol

Any half serious driving game should be replicating the HUD customization options that are available in ACC.

Can;t be that difficult surely, to have a menu with 2 columns. One that says Enabled and the other Disabled. Users can pick from the list of 10, 20 variables which are visible and which aren't.
