Is there a particular driver personality (hot/cool/somewhere in between) that tends to perform best in the remote races? Specifically the nascar race, since it places the drivers in the most evenly matched cars.

Yes. I learned the hard way! :) Hot, high-leveled drivers are, overall, the best, but if they aren't high enough level, they'll spin out and crash. Cool, low-leveled and high-leveled drivers will be extremely consistent, but not quite as fast.

Random Car selection and Random grid position is more important than driver skill.
Unless you do Nascar events only.
Its been done that way to allow lower level drivers to beat level 40.
Other wise there would be Zero reason for any host to select a higher driver than them.

This, and remember that hot drivers lose strength faster, cool drivers will retain strength longer, and if you push a cool diver too much, he will slowly become hot.

I wondered the same thing when I first created my drivers. Here are my results Hot/Cold/Neutral. Take it for what it's worth. They are all 99.9% remote racing.

I say it's totally random and I don't really see any variable you can control about remote racing without involving other accounts.

If it was totally random, then they'd all have about the same win percentage. One of my drivers has twice the win rate of my other drivers. I looked around a bit at others drivers and the win/lose rates and came up with some ideas. Because of this, I tried to make the worst drivers I could on my remote racing hosting account, and successfully, I made the drivers with the worst win rates compared to my main drivers.

I have 5/6 bobs around the middle of Cool/Hot and out of those 4/5 have ~90/~2200 wins. The ratio is very low because I raced them from creation to 40 in the club with all other racers at the time 35+ so couldn't win much until they were level 40 themselves.

The 1/5 who has ~160/~2200 has way better graphs/bars in Speed/Cornering/Accuracy than any other bob I have. The difference is huge when comparing to other ones in the "full view" of their skills.

I have no idea what determines their graph/bar gains during leveling, but he is a far more superior driver than the others in races.

The 1/6 who is quite far to the right on that bar (hot), has a very similar ~90/~2000 wins

So tl;dr: Only difference mine have is skill levels not cool/hot.
