i have switched off tc and asm in the options menu but they still work during the race??
it is beginners league i am doing just now (going back to get all golds)

Turning off ASM/TCS in the Options menu only turns off ASM/TCS for Arcade cars (and, iirc, License/Time trials for PAL).

To turn off ASM/TCS on Garage cars in Sim mode, you must go to "Settings" in the Pre-Race screen and turn ASM and TCS to "0", for ech Garage car.
