Real men use cockpit view.........................Immersion is the most important thing to me, cockpit view is not hard..at all.

For me some cars are easier to drive in cockpit than others. Maybe it's just my TV setting but the non-convertible cars seem to be a little difficult to drive in cockpit, due to there being significantly less lighting.

Yes some cars is easier and some of them is hard as hell

i want cickpit view because its make the driving more special for me .

I always use the cockpit view without HUD, except for "competitive" online racing. I wish there would be a option for forcing the cockpit view.

g27 + no hud = epic driving .

Well being a DS3 player, I don't really see that much of immersion when playing in a cockpit view.

I prefer bumper cam and chase cam anyways. Hood cam for specific cars with a well-placed point of view like the R35 GT500 cars.

for me this how its word :

1- cockpit view
2- follow view
3- hood bumper view

If I'm just having fun, then yea I'd use it. Otherwise, its just too shaky for me, especially if you get a bit of scuttle shake. Online I use good cam, other wise its bumper/third person view.

I've been running my Civic Type R RM in cockpit view with display and racing line off, MT and it's really fun, since I can actually see the dashboard. It's impossible in a lot of cars to actually see what the gauges are doind, since I do like to have a visual reference for gear changes or just to tell what speed I'm doing.

Honda civic is one of the easiet driving in a cockpit view

Don't take this personal, but racing line should ALWAYS be off. :)

Its should off all the time , only in one condition should be when you practicing on a track soo you can know where to brake and stuff like that .

i dont use it even when practicing .

I have issues with judgement, so I use it to A: keep an edge online, and B: because I'm a really lazy person and AT + driving lines = eeeazy races :D

I searched for it and i found out no one maked a thread like this , there is one complaining about the position of the cockpit .

anyway , am i the only one having problems driving in a cockpit ( cockpit cars )

i cant drive i dont know why its too hard its like i'm blind , and it get worse when driving in the night .

soo anyone having a problem just like me .

Once I removed the HUD, it became much more natural for me, and my times became much closer to the original bumper cam.

I suggest trying that. Be careful though, the HUD-less cockpit is quite addicting.

Whatever fits your style, Dragon. Personally, I find it more distracting than helpful.

I dont have a problem with the interior driving view. However, Test drive unlimited really nailed it with the ability to adjust your seat position forward backward, up, and down. I wish ALL racing games had that feature.

The messed up part was that they removed that awesome feature when they made TDU2. :dunce:

Got no problem at all, even siting in a home theater configuration. I can't notice the shaking issue, or maybe it looks natural to me. I have a 42'' LCD slightly higher than it should be, as it's placed over a fireplace. I just pick cars in which I can see the mirrors and rev counter in extra zoom mode.

Playing with the DS3, I use cockpit view at all times, unless our midget driver can barely look over the wheel itself, then it's roof cam. I don't have any issues otherwise. I just wish it was adjustable.

Screen is way to shaky.

Sorry.

I use hood view when I race seriously but in car/cockpit is sooo much fun though
