Are there any driving simulators with traffic on roads out there for windows?? I don't care if its free or not.

I wonder if you can actually farm? Or just drive around in one of your many tractors looking at a farm.
I'd love the driving simulator to allow you to 'hoon' around in cars anywhere you fancied. Virtual roadtrip to the Applecross Pass in the Caterham, anyone?
Basically GT/Forza/other sim on public roads.

I love the way the cows are oblivious to the tractor nearly running them over!
Most of that video is mods, no cows in the standard game (Yes I have played it
)You farm, silly to have a farming sim then just look at the farms. It's actually fun for a little bit and the physics engine is pretty good but it gets very repetative quickly, hence it has a big modding community.

Is it possible to upgrade the traktor? I'd like to make my virtual neighbour jealous with my sideskirt/spoilers and twin turbocharger. And racing stripes. .... racing stripes hmmmm

You can buy better tractors, even a black one, all "Fendt" brand but pretty much every tractor/harvestors and machinery made is available as mods.

Why? I played it for a bit, got bored and havent touched it since. No difference to people that play flash games or "the sims" or something. As I said it gets boring pretty fast.
Some Niche simulators interest me as sometimes you find good ones and learn quite a bit.

Haha, I bet that will be the same as farming simulator but with different machinery and things to do.
Looks to me like they're milking this simulator engine for everything they can. If they make enough niche sim games they will get enough people to 'bite' to justify them I guess.

I think this video shows just how great a 'fast road' driving simulator would be, especially if you could drive in environments modelled after real life locations (Applecross, Buttertubs, EVO Triangle, Stelvio, etc).
I think that the surroundings in the video really draw you in, reminds me of hooning around country lanes on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

... well that bus simulator looks fun if it was with gta 4 game engine etc 👍
... i have bought trainz 2009 ... and i like it ... but not fot the gameplay really ... more building the landscape etc (like with the sims XD)
On Topic:
As said above world racing was okay game,
but for me i use gta san andreas with downloaded real cars (& busses
). But still its not a 'Simulator'. But it is a city with traffic, okay graphics and lots of car content to find and you have to watch out for the police hehe
