I'm trying to pursue the life of a photographer. You need mostly skill, not education.

Well it does not hurt to have a something to fall back on when life gets hard. I myself am a Ford/GM master Diesel tech. Along with keeping my certifications, I am also in a Apprenticeship to becoming a Mold Maker. On top of all of that I have my A.S. in Computer science where I can get a job anywhere being a IT consultant or even a administrator.

Ooooohhhh, gnarly. I was told to have a backup plan.

I am going to major in engineering, and no. It is not easy, at all if you do good in school you get rewarded later in life when your making 6 figure, living the high life in a big house. While others are working at mcdonalds living in an apartment :yuck:

Edub, your only 13. I am sure you will change your mind later in highschool. I mean photography sounds nice, but in this economy I don't know who would want to buy pictures of rain forests and clouds and stuff...

OH by the way, there are a lot of colleges that offer 2 and 4 year degrees for photography. So you may want to think twice about your education. To give an idea, here are what my current pay rates are in each field. Machining/Mold Making $21/hr, Diesel Tech $27, IT administrator $30+.

Have I mentioned wheel drifting is hard, and i suck?

Haha, yes it is. Just ask driftz...I SUCKED at drifting with my g27 till I bumped into him online at high speed ring and he was a lot of help. I was tuned all wrong and I was REALLY pissed because I can drift fairly well in real life and have driven a LOT and owned a few really high horsepower cars. I even used to take a shop loaner home when I worked at a tow yard 5 years ago and a lot of times it was a stock stick shift 93 miata which always came back with less rubber because of drifting the onramps and offramps on the way home from work. So with all my real world sliding experience high horsepower and low from over the years I was bummed when I first got my g27 and had TONS of trouble.

LONG STORY SHORT Bro, you will get the hang of it and LOVE it in due time. ALSO a custom e-brake using a ds3 is also very helpful

Hey Driftz could ya delete B-raube and add Mikeonthebike81? I tried to add you but you have a full psn.

NICE, get er done shop space is hard to come by. What's the project? I'm going to be looking for an older rx7 later this summer to drop in a 475 horse 8,200 rpm 302 that i have sitting in the garage. Going to be Ford V8 powered Mazda which seems fitting because of Fords partnership with mazda since the late 70's.

I've Been a mechanic (fall back job) automotive/motorcycle painter and certified welder for many moons, time to apply my talents to a drift car. Lame thing about this is it will have to be a trailer queen because of our gargabe smog laws in Ca. Being a trailer queen won't be too bad though because infineon and thunder hill are less than 2 hours either direction and it will keep me from acting a fool on the streets, a long hard lesson I've learned already from my street days in stuntriding.
