But in all for realness, I'm thinking NSX, S2000, RX7, RX8, S4, r32, or STi.

Its ok my elise will own.. Light, MR, and rabbit gears..

I could care less about winning. I just want to have a good close race.

HAHA.. If your not first, your last.

Okay well that's fine. If I come in last by .02 seconds it's still fun. Why don't you just use an x1, win, and then everyone else race. Just chill out bro.

I hate to burst your bubble fox but I'm probably going to ban the lotus elise. I'm getting on tonight to do a test session so we'll se how it goes, but based on past experience it is basically a race-ruiner. My goal is to create tight races between all different types of cars, and while I'd love to have the elise in the series it would be detrimental to the "tight race" factor because it really is significantly faster than just about everything else.

Part of why I wanted a weight limit is to keep cars like the lotus and the mazda from being completely dominant, especially since they're perfectly suited to the SH tires and don't really sacrifice any performance when running them.

^ I'll get on soon if you need someone else to help test chassis.

I'm going to use my honda civic with a modified skunk2 exhaust that makes it sound even louder and higher giving it +50hp. Also I made cutouts of the headers and made holes in the hood to give it more cooling power, and last but not least, I removed the crappy stock 15 inch wheels and replaced them with 22 inch chrome rims I got from a flee market.

I'm at dinner/breakfast at dennys. Not sure if I am getting on tonight but I am for sure getting on tomorrow after work.

Cool more 500pp testing. Going to test my next, little friend may be closer competition acceleration wise with the R32.

So, I'd like you all to know that the first night of testing went very very well. The Lotus Elise was overpowered as I predicted, averaging 5-6 seconds faster around Fuji Speedway F than my R32 GT-R and crisp's NSX. Fox had predicted the NSX to be unfair too, but a race between crisp and I ended up with a finish that came down to the very last corner and ended with a 0.137 second split! Definitely the type of racing I'm aiming for.

The lotus Elise was a fair car when it was tuned to ~470pp when fox had it toned down to about 200hp, but until I find out how to regulate a 470pp car in a 500pp room, chances are it will not be allowed. I did testing with a miata tuned to 490pp and it proved to be a fair car, averaging only two seconds slower than my average time with the R32, meaning that with the additional 10pp added it should be a very competitive car.

Based on tonight's test session, I'm fairly confident in what we have. I will try to have a thread open this weekend

Glad you guys had a good night. Wish I could have been there. Maybe tomorrow after work before the drift event.

ACtually both of your cars were faster when it was at 200hp. At 230 was 485pp. I have something else I'd like to try. Its still 500 pp, but its alot lighter with a little less power. Its a Elise but it only has 210hp but weighs in @ 610kg. Now as far as regulating its simple. Set the room to the lower PP first, then make them enter the course, the set it back to 500pp.

Ok so I found a way to make cars more competitive. I will make several and put them on share tonight so we all can test them. The best way I see to make them all about even will be by power to weight ratio. I have power to weight ratio is relatively consist with PP.

So question guys can yall figure out who is going to judge me and mr big for our battle I know its a bit off but Id like to have all the judges in order before the battle so I dont look retarded day of
