Great news! I just moved my entire desktop (including a complicated procedure bringing our 1 wireless router) next to my tv! Not only does this mean listening to some music while drifting without wearing headphones, but also means I can play LFS again :D


Oh and fastfox, that sucks. You should slip in some trix yogurt to change it up :lol:

Also spank don't mod your wheel unless you want to take a chance, I took the chance of reversing my pedals and removing my shifting paddles. I came damn near close to ripping out the potentometer plugs :scared:

P.S If its just a small mod like changing the steering wheel or removing shifter paddles then don't hesitate, its really easy :D
 
What zed said. But after my warrantee is up I'll reverse-mount my pedals. It's not that hard, you just gotta be gentle and careful.
 
Yea, it was easy but when I was mounting them to the 2 pieces of wood I bent the accelerator wire potentometer plugs, so I had to bend them back very carefully :D
 
I'm in love with my LFA so hard right now, I just drove it stock on the nurb with sports hard tires and did a 7:32 on the nurb. So much fun.

Me too, I have mine perfectly tuned for drifting. If you need help with the gearbox I can send you my settings, every gear is instant and still well spaced out.
 
I love my m3 gtr for racing. Its mad fun when your on sports hard tires with no assists including no abs :D

lol, I AM ABOUT TO CLUB A BABY SEAL, I cannot setup the mother****ing axises on lfs. I click on the brake axis, and I press the brake, and guess what? it makes it instead the steering. FML

There should be a preset for each wheel. You got Logitech profiler?

Ugh hate being up this early. Now the task of buying a desk, because i have no room for a cockpit.

Spank go to ikea. That's where I got my desk setup for 19 bucks including a chair.

yeah.. you really have to make sure your desk is as stable as possible, mine use to have a really poor stability... it was a disaster, with the feedback force the wheel kicks.. my desk was literally jumping.:crazy:

Spank why did you buy a desk? I built a small little cockpit no bigger then the size of a desk for only 30$! that's a damn site better then spending 80$ on an unsturdy uncool and anooying desk that is just going to move around.

Spank: Also when you start wheel drifting you WILL rage for the first week. It was such a pain in the ass to drift when I first got a wheel, I would throw the wheel into the corner and just spin out.

I like the idea of having a desk, but dont have the room for one.

Thats my 19 dollar set up and it works pretty good.
 
I'm going to take a picture some time of my setup including my 55inch plasma tv and surround sound system :D
