Zed just a heads up. With lfs running on full screen it runs at 20fps. If you take it off full screen by pressing Shift+F4, it will jump to 50-60fps. Don't ask how it works, but it works for me.

Powell, I know it increases it. It jumps mine to 70fps, but I don't want to play in a small screen, I want to play full screen.

I have to leave. I'm going out of town for work, then vacation.. Its not that its hard. its just everytime I get lines up to make a run to try to learn i get hit and have to start over again.. Last night in only 30 min at high speed ring I was only able to 6 attempts. Its extremely frustrating. So more than likely if I am on, i'll be in in my lounge by myself.

Yeah agreed. It was slightly chaotic and some people were paying very little attention to where they were going. Don't send it back though :( keep trying! You've only had it for a week, don't give up so soon. Do what I do; keep a positive attitude and just do everything you can to enjoy it a much as possible.

I did. I hooked it all up tonight for a bit before having to leave in the am. I have since switched from the crappy Z to a Mustang. Saw Spank using his. I decide to build another twin. With only 500hp, and 1500kg. I can drift! I was able to drift and transition and connect the 2 turns a couple of times. Understeer is a great teacher help keep you in the throttle when needed.. Rise you should try it.

the 07 gt? if so.. yeah.. that car is really nice to drift on with good settings, some people talk about understeering as a problem.. but i truely feel the car with no problem, a teacher for the throtle, you losse the scare sensation of setteping on the gas, with good settings it can be a loyal dancing parner.:)

The only two cars I've wheel drifted us the s13 and my 07 mustang haha 595hp all motor. It's easy because since it under steers the entry is very gradual
 
Well I tuned my using the controller so I know what its capable of. Mine has very little under steer but need to get the trans right. With only 550hp I'm still full throttle from entry to transtiom on high speed ring. Then right back in to full throttle again. Guess the gearing to slightly to long ..
 
my mustang is only 400hp. Dont need anymore than that right now until i actually know how to drift with the wheel.

Yeah, its better starting with low powered cars, I started with the ae86, s13 s14, Drift Missiles,I still use them. but while time passes you will see that you need more hp to be able to drift with, right now I'm using my "The Beast"(c63, Irony between its name and how its painted, its pink :lol:) it has 853HP. I'm still learning how to control it at full lock, I like getting tons of angle and with 853hp its kinda scary :lol:
 
My dad is thinking about building a stand for my well :D but I need pictures to show him a couple of ideas

No you just need to keep motivated. You're giving up way too easily. You can do it, you just have set expectations that are way too high for yourself. Nobody does it perfectly after one week

All that time I had power steering on fml! Turned it off and I can drift corners about 70% consistently

what? so that means i have been doing it wrong for nearly 2 years?!
im sure power steering is a plus imo.

And Powell did you drift irl to say that its not close to the real thing?
 
Im on workmans comp.. So I get a paid vacation for 2 wks. So I'm found my new love.

Power Steering is bad for drifting Ono... It'll improve your drifting if you take it off
