DS3 users, what's your license ratio?

Just curious if I have a decent record in the licenses compared to others...

I have 50 gold, 9 silver and 1 bronze so far and I don't think i'm gonna be able to improve much on that, maybe another 2 gold and possibly silver that effing bronze from the Special License on Suzuka.

I have all golds on all the licenses. The discrepancy in functionality between the DS3 and Wheel really only factors into the Vettel challenges.
 
I'm like 8, 12, and 40 but i wasnt trying for gold either, I'll probably go back later and go for all gold.
 
60 golds. Its not that hard to do with the DS3, just takes practice really. You may think some of them might be out of your capabilities, but with practice you get better and eventually you can gold them all. Only a few are really hard though. :)
 
I have 44 gold I think , im struggling with IA so I wont bother with the special licence (got first 3 gold on S) . Unless I gold IA.
 
55 Gold, 5 Silver.

I think four of the silvers are in the IC licences and the other in the S licence
 
I can't seem to get ic-1, ic-3, ic-10, ib-3, ia-10, s-2, s-3, s-5, s-6, and s-8 is the one I have bronze in!
 
Gold is even easy to get with controller. Only the Vettel challenges a steering wheel is needed to get all golds.

S-8 was the last bronze I had too - went from bronze to gold last night. I found that it was all about betting past the XJ220 coming out of denger. If I didnt get alongside there. it got in the way in the braking zone for the hairpain or overtook me on the way out of spoon.
 
Wow, I only have a few gold, some silver & loads bronze! I don't usually go back & try hard to get gold in all licenses! I did when I 1st got GT3 but that was before I knew I only needed to get bronze to do the next license :lol: !

For S-8 you wanna be in 3rd by the hairpin after the crossover. Otherwise 3rd is probably all you can expect. ;)

Done that a few times, but I can't seem to get passed anyone at the next 2 left handers without contact or having to over-brake, therefore getting DQ'd or them getting away from me until the final chicane where I tend to do the same.
 
I've not reached the point in game where I'm going back and redoing licenses.
On the first passing of license tests (guessing) I'm around 2/3 bronze, about 1/3 silver with a handful of golds sprinkled in.
I did the license tests before ever doing any racing. Now I'm focused on endurance races. Finally hit lvl 30.

I'm thinking about going back and working on licenses before 24h endurance races. Not looking forward to those events at all...

If you can't overtake at the Spoon curve (the two left handers) then use these turns to get as close as possible to the cars in front. The exit at this turn is very important as a long straight follows. You want to be close enough to slip stream the car in front. You should overtake one at 130R, and then get first at the final chicane. Sorted. :)

Thats exactly how I did it. I am lucky to get through spoon smoothly on my own, let alone trying to overtake.

I lost count of the number of times I was DQ'd in the first corner from the 2nd last car (dont remember what it is) turning in and hitting the back corner of the car :grumpy:. Whoever did the penalty system for this test needs to have a good hard look at themselves - you can more or less play bumper cars after the first couple of turns.
 
I have all gold. I do not see myself as an awesome driver.
Some of them were far too easy (that chamonix one comes to mind) and some gave me hell (IC-10).
 
All golds here. Just took a bit of patience. The earlier tests were harder than the later ones too. S8 drove me up the wall!

Thought I was the only one. Had a hard time golding the first few licenses, then later licenses, I could silver many on my first try and even gold a few. Good to know. Maybe I'll focus on golding everything in the higher licenses then work back down to the earlier ones that I missed.
 
YES!!! I finally got S-8. I took about 400 goes but I did it, WHOOP! Where's my medal?

Anyway, I got up behind the fat ass Jag in the last left hander at the end of the SSSSSS turns and managed to outbrake him enough in the next right hander to run him into the sand :D Next corner I got the one that looks a bit like the Tesla?, and that left me with the hairpin to take on my own so I didn't have to worry about slowing down too much and crashing or running wide. Got pretty close to them at spoon but they left me for dust on the straight. I managed to make some time on the long left by drifting sideways over the curb and the outbraking them into the chicane, slowing down to 9, yes NINE MPH before turning into the chicane, luckily I had outbraked myself too and blocked the road so no one could pass. And the rest, as they say, is history :D

Also got S-5 and 6, but they weren't nearly as hard as Suzuka, probably because I actually hate that track, mainly because I suck at it. Hate the stupid SSSSS bit!

Anyway, this brings my silver count down to 7 (ic-1, ic-3, ic-10, ib-3, ia-10, s-2, s-3)

Runner up award to IC-1 would have to be the slalom test with that POS FT-86.

Thanks, I must try that. I have tried slamming into 1st but not using the hand brake aswell...

Yea that slalom is a real pain, I'm pretty close though...
 
Golding all the license test is only hard the first times with the DS3. It is all about learning proper braking. I can start a new save an gold all test in less than 3 hr without problem is just a matter of practicing. I had nightmares with IC-10 it took me more than 10hrs to gold but now I can gold it every time.

IC-10 is the one in Rome, right? Any tips for completing it?
 
I think I've got around 10 golds, and the rest about evenly divided between silver and bronze. I've been going back and redoing some of them, trying to up some of my bronzes to silver or gold, but I've never been very good at the licenses.

Sorry for the quality, I filmed it with my iPhone. If you dont catch the second place car by the second turn (right hander) on the second lap restart. I barely did and only got first on the last section.

that was a damn smooth couple laps, not a single bump and grind, I tend to hammer the other cars lol I did the same as you, got passed the Muira before the long straight, but I could never catch up and pass the 1st and 2ns place cars as you did.

Thanks dude. I cant deny, on some there was some grinding out of frustration but that clean IC10 was the fastest of my attempts. Just have to get a feel for the hovercraft *cough* I mean Ferrari.

I set ABS @ 1 and a 6/2 brake bias.
