We need major practice to keep up with the CLK's and M3's but I can;t make it for 7.. Maybe a bit later...

Rikkos u lagged up the page with that last quote lol. you put it there 1min ago and my page jammed:D I thought we went of quite early yesterday was evryone fed up with me winning?? ;) sorry homes we went of lol, (but u do smell) :D
 
Scale the 2 Merc's were just "sandbagging" so you think you got it sorted for Sunday :sly:
 
Yer quite literally sandbagging, u end up in the sand lol. You just cracked under the immense pressure of a blue audi that can get the best exit out of the 2nd chicane :D But no, the mercs will definitly be quick and i very much doubt n audi will win. However monza ALWAYS delivers close racing so should be fun.
 
Probably gonna miss this weeks race because of the Canadian GP. Sry guys
 
What happened to giving people cars to match there pace? I have people finishing ahead of me in the races I've raced that are in a faster car!

Best lap i can get is 1.40

I can only get 141.556 in an online lounge (no draft) and 140.1XX in an offline practice room...

Could not sign into PSN last night to practice.

Sassa - Vettel is on pole so the Canadian GP looks like a 2011 style bore-fest LOL. If Vettel breaks the draft by lap 1.5 then you know you must stop wasting your life and switch on the PS3 ;)

Yeah it was a 1.40.3 but felt really slow, and i had SRF off and it was hard to control for long period's so i doubt it's a solid strategy for the race.
 
Yeah, I got that 141.556 with SRF off but after lap 3 with no SRF it becomes REALLY tough to keep up a good pace.

Just got 140.3XX in an online lounge with SRF on ;)

Don´t know how Homes can do a 1:41xxx with his 610pp Astra ??

Are you using a Vauxhall ?? (more torque and Power)

Races where superb.
In both Races I started from faar behind, due to my lack of pace.
But I could fight my way up.
Race1:
With the Draft of Rikko, Driver and Allykh I could keep up with the faster guys.
I could brake way later which caused me to be a bit too aggressive, espacially against the end with Allykh.
This caused Scale to close the Gap and Last Lap Parabolica I took 3rd but got outdrafted by Scale => 0.013seconds I missed Podium -_-

Race2:
So again reaaly far behind but I managed to keep up again.
Had a nice battle with Wordup and Driver (but me think I caused Drivers off ??) till pitstop.
After that I could close the Gap to Petrolhead. I had to keep in his Draft because them Benzes where Ultra fast on the Straights.
Last lap Lesmo 2 Petrol touched the Grass and the gap went bigger. But me thought he´ll get me anyway.
He closed and at finishline it was 0.1-0.3 seconds but me finished infront
=> Podium again *w00t*
 
i failed a speed test last night my upload was 0 my ping was incredibly high
my download came up as 0 aswell
 
@will - You need to move to an area with better broadband m8.

@Sakery - I know there is a big difference in performace between the Opel Calibra and the Vauxhall Calibra, so I assume there is a difference between the Opel and Vauxhall Astra but I don't have the Opel version so I can't test. Also, I spent ages setting up my gear box so I could use all 6 gears. For example - coming out the 1st chicane I was using 1st gear where everyone else was using 2nd gear, so I effectively had a 6 speed gearbox where everyone else had a 5 speed gearbox. 6 gears are better than 5. When I was racing against you I noticed that I was much faster on the straight. Were you using any wing?

I used maximum Downforce, because of the Lesmos and Parabolica.
And I tried without it but I wasn´t faster (Timewise).
In addition I don´t use a Turbo and abuse the Power-Limiter (not that anybody does it but it´s sometimes common but I dislike that method).

I´m a DS3 user => limited Throttle control => no use of 1st gear

Will test the Vauxhall maybe its faster.

Man...I was slow, felt like I was driving a beetle. Still enjoyed it.

Well done to Homes, who clearly out classed the field with a well prepared car.

Hi guys, (wow CANU still ahead of me, he hasnt even been here lol) good race, went surprisingly well, with my seriously slow TT i managed 3rd and 2nd, how i do that?? :D Homes ur Astra was like a space shuttle, i'll be looking for revenge for mocking me on last 2 laps :D Slowing down to wait for me so we could have a 'race' lol. Sakery, that downforce hurt u a bit, i was faster thn u on straights. But still a good result for u m8 :)

i can see thise series starting to become more like he last couple pulling out as i cant stay connected long enough
i might be down to the fact its on a sunday
it was never that bad on a thursday
