Hmmmmm .. times should be close this time out .. though 12 laps of the test course is going to get very boring .

The way I see it, the gas pedal is going to be used as a foot rest for our right foot.:p:dopey: But seriously, it's probably going to come down to how well and how long can we draft off the other cars, and what line we should take when we're not drafting(racing gods forbid).

Hey guys.. I'm back :) ... ... And I hope i don't fall asleep during the race. O_o

The deadline for this round is tomorrow at 23:59 EST (GMT -5). Waynz is the only one that has sent me times so far.

Lol iv only just remembered this race and had to remind my team mate ;)

Times subbed soon

Wow, this is gonna be difficult. Due to the way real life has had me tied down, I'm currently trying to due all my times for all the series I'm in and send them in all before 5:00. I'm gonna be a a bind for a while.

Edit: Just Great, My PS2 has finally let go so I won't be sending times for this race or Group C now:mad:

Your ps2 has given up the ghost?? poof!! Dam thats a shame RACECAR but as least they are cheap these days for a new one unlike the new ps3 ay.
Hope you get it sorted soon

Thanks. I was just about to unplug it and throw it out when I thought,"hmmm, try it one more time" and it actually got going, but its barely doing anything now. I'm gonna keep a close eye on it as any minute now it might just go. Figures it stops just when I need it most.

Gonna send in my times in a few minutes. I only did the race for this round once due to commitments to other series and some real-life things like my jobs. Now as to my partner for the Clio Cup series...

:ouch: Man, that bites. Dunno if you had the chance to take it in for repairs anytime recently. Maybe they can help you out if there are any problems with it. If it needs to be cleaned out, yiou can alwyas use a DVD Maintenance Kit that you can get from most any consumer electronics store and a aerosol duster or vaccum cleaner positioned at the fan so you can get any dust out of the system.;)👍

I hope thats all it is because it has not been reconizing anything I put in there. Usually, I would know it needs to be cleaned when it doesn't reconize GT, but today it was just not reading any of the games.

Sounds like you need a new lazar and it would be cheaper to buy a new ps2, sorry chap

It appears so. I've shown my dad and he said the same so sometime this week, we are getting a new one. The good part about it is that it'll be the slimmer one as The one I have now is the original defective series. It has been sent to the shop numerous times and it looks like its finally done.

I have the same original PS2 model myself since I got GT3 after it became one of those Greatest Hits games, so you might have a idea as to how old it is. I got it used off a friend who no longer needed it and decided to fix it up before selling it. I've been considering getting of of those Slimline PS2's myself for a while now myself and I may get one of them in the near future. And when I do, the older PS2 will be going into the rec room for my cousin to play with when he visits.:sly:👍 And besides, the newer one will come in handy if I decide to take part in one of those LAN meetings like the UKGTP or SFGTP.;)
