Yes, it's my second attempt at a race series, but this one is planned out better and will be better.

It will consist of 22 races at various track on Gran Turismo 4, but you can only use DTM cars, teams are below, you can sign up for 1 car only.

Racing Medium Tires only.
No wheelies etc.
Only cars below can be used.
2 identical cars in a team.
All races will be on Arcade mode.
No discussing times in any of the DTM threads, PM me your times.
The given time between races will be for you to send me both your qualifing and race times.
Alfa Romeo 155 add 11& power, Mercedes EVO II add 19% power using the quick tune option.
All times must be PM'ed to me before or on the day of the deadline, the deadline will always be at 20:00 (UK Time).
If you fail to give me your time 4 times in a row without reason (holiday etc.), you will be disqualified.

I have a better idea, instead of 2 Nurburgring races, I'll change one with the Deep Forest race, so round 1 dose'nt start until August 21st, more time to get people.

I don't understand the picture verification for first place. All times are calculated and when a winner is found s/he is asked for a picture of his race time? Once that is cleared up I'll be one step closer to joining this series. It's a crazy concept but I really, really like the idea.

I'm in, I'll take the CLK.



Do we send Qualifying and Race times at the same time or do we send the Quali, then you make a grid, then we race?


And... how do we find each race? Do we just run nine laps of testing?


Since this is in GT mode, can we buy parts (i.e. for the CLK, both NA tuning and Turbo are available), or do we race the cars how we got them? What about oil changes?

Ok, no picture verifications.

The Internet - Cars MUST be 100% stock exept for Oil Changes which ARE allowed.

About the testing will be done on free run, I'm pretty sure it shows your total time.

The 6 days between races are for you to PM me your Qual. and Race times.

Hmm, OK, the Mercesdes EVO and Alfa Romeo can be equipped with stage 1 Turbos, no other car can be tuned.

Excellent call on the turbos for the 2.0 cars! I'm still thinking about this. School is inching ever nearer and this is a 28 race championship (WOW!) I'm also working with GN+ on creating another championship right now and should probably focus my attention on that. However, if you ever need some brainless piece of you-know-what to do something for you regarding this series, my PM Inbox has got some space!

How can I get it to do that? Mine only does each individual lap - should I add up the lap times and submit that as my final?

George, why don't you edit your first post to include evrything you have added, like the turbos and some other rules?
 
i'd love to be in picking the tt or, if team full, the clk. but there's one slight problem. this week i've got dan's 2.3 and wrs68 on my mind. after that i'll be celebrating my holidays for 3 weeks until 3 september. that won't do for this great dtm tournament i guess.
obviously the other contestants don't do something like 'holidays'. so a postpone is no option either.
and darren won't be happy having a teammate who won't show up for the first two races - and two of the best tracks to my taste.

so tell me if i can be in our out.

eitherway to george: this is one great tourney you've come up with. if it were me i would have made all ptw ratio's the same to make competition even more fair, but that's just my look at it.

EDIT i might try to avoid holiday issues by working in advance for the first 2 races and submit (very early).
