Yes, it's here, the 34 race DTM tournament, this thread will contain everything you need to know about round 3.​



Midfield Raceway​
Qualification​
Race - 11 Laps​



Before Race Rules​

Transmission Top Speed setting may be altered
You may use Racing Super Soft Tires for Qualifying only
​



Qualification Rules​

Racing Super Soft Ties may be used.
There is not limit to how many qualification laps you run, but please PM me your race and qualification lap in at the same time.
Rumble strips are part of the track.
Please do not use any cheat devices while qualifing or racing.

Race Rules​

Please run only the given amount of laps.
If you ever go off the track, return to the course but add 2 seconds to your overall race time.

Please do not use any cheat devices while qualifing or racing.​




After Race Rules​

Please only PM me your times in between the given dates unless you have a reason (holiday etc.).
Don't argue about your qualifing position or race result, if anything seems suspicious, I will take care of it.​

Ok, no rule changes for this week, so it should be easier for us all to start off.

Thanks to all of those who submitted thier week 2 times, the results are in the week 2 thread but tables are in this thread.

Well done to TS for winning, despite coming last in the qualification by a long shot. The tables are still very close, as you can see, there are no drivers pulling away at this early stage, although Opel Astra are quite a bit ahead in the constructors table.

Sorry about missing the deadline George... Opel Astra could be even further ahead now. Some quite bad things have happened here in the last few weeks/months and last week I had no time. Anyway I'll submit this week!

Yes it is better now Darren, thanks for asking. Midfield was always my favourite tracks on GT3/GT3 and incidentally I often used the Vauxhall/Opel Astra! Shame the physics have changed otherwise I'd be amazing!
 
Another track I hate :D After only 5 laps of Qualifying I seem to have hit a brick wall and for the life of me cant go any fricken faster :ouch: Im more or less done with the race now also. May give it one last go as I got a wheel on the sand on the exit of Turn 1 which cost me about a second or so 👎
 
Hey George, the points table doesnt look right, I score 8 points for round 1, and with the same result in round 2 I only get two extra points? Could you also post what points are scored for 1st, 2nd etc and what points are scored for Qualifying, thanks.

Team 2 Audi A4 should have 9 points if I have 9 points becuase im on that team

don't expect to be anywhere near a point considering the qual position
 
I may not be able to make this one, due to the fact I've been fiddling with round 2 and I have other things to do.

Wow. Did much better than expected as I only had time for four race runs last night.

There's only one slight problem George, there should be a 2 second penalty added to my race time. I had all four wheels on the grass coming out of the last turn on lap 5. Although it probably cost me more than that after loosing all my speed for the start finish straight. :ouch:

Only moves me down one place, still with points. :)

George I think I'll have to pull out of this competition. I just can't find time with everything else going on. Sorry for any inconvenience.
 
Thats a bugger, I'll try to find another driver.

No sorry Gearge, the two seconds need to be added to that to make a 13'07.015.

Sorry for the confusion. Everything was a bit of a blur this morning. :)
