Here discus about few sliders for DS setting that Straight4 gave us.

Natural support for the DualSense is terrible, so take a look, and if you have some good advice or settings, share it here!

Here is a screen with DS sliders:

I think they are from the Global Force Feedback Gain to Haptic Strength.

That I already tweaked something, and it feels little better, but it's far from Rennsport and GT7...

I wonder if much of those would work on Series X. I am hesitant to buy the game because of the controls mostly.

Now I find out if you play with the Default settings for the Controler Buttons then the FFB and Haptic FB is working.
When I change the Button settings, I replaced the Acceleration and Breaking From L2/L1 to X and squere, than the FFB and Haptic FB is not working.
This shouldn't be like that...

How did you change from L2/R2 to X and square? It won't allow me to map square (or circle). In GT7 I use X/square for go/stop and L2/R2 for shift down/up. Thought I'd do the same in this game, but...

Is there any way to remap the steering control? I’d like to remap the sticks to the motion control, (using the controller like a wheel).

Thanks.

Remapping anything on controller looks like an afterthought/low priority at the moment. Playing with triggers for go/stop makes me feel like I'm riding a motorbike or controlling an RC Tamiya model. I'd prefer to stomp on the X/square pedals with my right foot (thumb) as I do with some success in GT7. I wonder if what you're asking here might be possible in the PS5 settings, because I see no mention of motion control within the game itself.

Frustrating, as with the great car list and interesting tracks it's an open goal for them. If playing on controller was even remotely equivalent to how GT does it they'd be raking in millions by now. I do like the less forgiving driving physics, but all the adjustable input/controller settings, without any hint as to what each does, makes it feel a really good setup might just be there waiting if you make the right tweaks. But life's too short. PD seem to get it.

Did anyone found some at least, close to ok Dualsense settings after new update?

I've tried them few and nothing better, gamepad wasn't in their minds.

I tried these yesterday before my stream:

But you can't "catch" a car from spining, no RL fight, only left-right with red tires...

That answers my question. Thanks.

I subscribe to that channel. Which is excellent.

Do you have "Force Feedback Detail" in settings?

It supposed to be under "Low Force Boost"

I don't have it on PS5, but curious did they removed it with last update...?
