I discovered dubstep around 3 months ago and I've been hooked since. I don't really know how to describe it.. Electronic-ie. So here's some of my favorites:

Famous song from Mt Eden DnD. It has 800k+ views

Flux Pavillion - Show off. Really fast and grimey

Imogen Heap - Hide & Seek autopilot remix. Not as fast or grimey, but fun nonetheless.

Cragga - Please Mr Postman remix

I like dubstep, but my only complaint is that every song sounds exactly like every other song. I can only listen to it in small quantities.

I used to listen to dubstep radio on iTunes. It's like background music.

I think it's pretty awesome. While other electronic types of music try to make music more melodic, Dubstep is all abut the noise, but doesn't get annoying like hardcore or more experimental types of electro might.

These two are among my favourites at the moment

I can imagine being in an elevator while listening to that Dubstep song.

Let's try from Super Mario RPG. It's just way too catchy to not listen to for a long period of time.

Quite a few of my friends are into Dubstep as it's a big thing over in the UK. I don't quite know how it's got so big. My favourite Dubstep song I've heard so far is:

Noisses - End Of

Although I can't listen to it much because it's all too similar.

Perhaps a bit commercial, although if I where to put this into a genre i would probably go with dubstep

Skream - In for the Kill

edit - just noticed it has dubstep in the title. :dunce:

Its my new favorite genre of music. Its interesting really, it has such a dirty sound in some tracks and clean on others. My favorite Dubstep group is TEK-ONE they are acoustic remixers who use childrens toys for their sound. Check them out, as well as Bring Me The Horizon- Suicide Season CUT UP, they have a track on there as well as a few other Dubstep musicians. Ill post some links.

My favorite Dubstep song.

I love a bit of Dubstep! Burial is my favourite artist but I like most of it, here's a select few of my recent favourites;

Turn up your sub for this one, it's got some awesome deep bass;

and then the genius that is Burial. So atmospheric and moody, you hear new things every time you listen to any of his music;

Oh, and they played that Skream remix of In For The Kill at the NYE party I went to. The crowd went absolutely mental, even though there was a dedicated dubstep room next door! The bass was ridiculous, I was right at the front of the crowd and it hurt like hell, I've never felt bass like it before, even at car shows. I've got some of it on video, I'll upload it later.

Can't stand it myself. I only know what it is because my future brother in law is a dubstep artist. I played his track to my mother in law and suggested that her daughter have it as the music she walks down the aisle to.

The local college radio station has an occasional show full of the stuff, and I agree with the assessment that it all sounds nearly identical. It might be a good soundtrack for getting baked out of your living skull, but to just listen to it as entertainment would drive me to screaming.

My favorite Dubstep song.

I absolutely hate screamo, but that was.. pretty bad ass. :sly: TEK-ONE has amazing tracks too. I think I found a new favorite. :drool:👍

Here's something really, really cool. If you are a bit impatient, skip to 2:14. That's where it gets truly bad ass.

Another one of my favorites. Mt Eden DnB - Faded

It's a good track that, I remember hearing it on a Call of Duty video a while back but it's not dubstep, it's drum & bass. 👍

Here's a sample of a killer track from Mt Eden, a remix of one of my all time favourite songs;

I have a huge collection of Dubstep (around 4 Gbs) and I usually put my whole music list (around 35 Gbs) on random and I'll get dubstep mixed with jazz, with death metal and some odd style seeped in as well. I just listened to this song and it completely blew my mind... I heard it on good headphones (at work) so that might be a huge part of it.

The people from England have the best music. Dubstep and Traditional Skinhead Reggae are my favorites. I've been off and on with Grime, I guess you really have to find a good artist.

New Yapstep. Sounds like those robot dogs that would yap and then do a backflip.

Correct me if Im wrong, but is Dubstep the evolution of what was called Garage and Two-step like 10 years ago??? Because I did have a phase that I was listening to that stuff since it was coming from England, which is close to Holland ;) But it does sound a bit similar...

I'm currently listening to this one.... it's sad it doesn't have any more listens/views, since it's an awesome track

Awesome track indeed. 👍 I need to find it somewhere online for download. I would love to bump that in my car.

Tha Mt. Eden dude has many nice songs in his youtube channel. I'm kind of a dubstep head - been hearing it for couple months now along with drum & bass. Here's a few I like:
Excision & Datsik are :drool: when it comes to dubstep

Another duo with some solos

Most favorite - Finally on youtube (It was a very rare song by Skream)

BTW, on the last video, the bass doesn't really sound like that.
