Lag is a funny thing, thought most of you would know from the fact you never venture into rooms hosted by other countries. Ask yourself why an American has very little chance in a room full of people all from the same country, now translate that onto a smaller scale, it still applies, shame that so many 'fast' people don't even consider this. Simple explanation: Person from east coast races someone from west coast, ghost is on west coast, what you think is going to happen. Welcome to the world of latency kiddos.

We know this, we americans aren't so stupid like you think we are. E-Cheat is completely different from lag

i have been to some rooms where they allow ghost launch to compensate for lag

it is what it is

the really competitive ones go off time and may take a bunch of times just to get the perfect even launch

anyhow this is completely off topic. lag isnt cheating

This is more common in 3k drag, at least from my experience.

The only way to clear this up is to have an even playing field, then the only thing that we have to worry about is shopped images. It was hard enough to detect SRF sometimes, this just make it hopeless...

Re-tuning your cars for SRF isn't that hard, just adjust some ratios and you should be fine.

It's not hard, it's just a pain in the ass when you've got nearly 600 cars to retune.

Thank PD, their smart enough to not allow SRF on some seasonal events but it makes me laugh at how poorly they designed route X...

thats what i thought too, from the beginning it should have been everything goes. use whats available.

in 3k a lot of people complain about wing tunes and understandably sfr as well but these things are readily available. its not like you have to press Up-Up-Down-Down-Left-Right-Left-Right B, A, Start

i do understand though the daunting task of having to re-tune so i respect that and abide by "common" law. ill usually have a non-wing tune for every wing tune.

Hating aero tunes is a little childish in my eyes, but yeah, I always have both in my garage.

I agree but I do what I can do legally tuning a car to get it the fastest without glitching or cheating.

yeah oh well. before route x when everyone found out the speed 12 was faster with a wing, everyone jumped on that bandwagon

but when we got route x and some people figured out wings help a lot more cars then just the speed 12, people considered it cheating.

i understand they worked hard to tune without a wing and to all of a sudden lose to a winged tune means they have to re-tune but its not cheating. its using a part that makes it faster.

It's actually not such a big difference between the tunes.
And to be top on SSRX you'd have to retune your cars anyway.

It's more the ridiculousness.

This trick BLoWS.....really leaves who actually has the better tune in the air. The trick has always been around but it's been avoided like a plague. And it should stay that way.

I'm quoting myself here but I mentioned it in this thread... There's 2 people in particular who has brought this nasty cheat back from the dead

I'd say
Pepe9555
cgutta
Bigburto
Grizzlybro
Gurdanc
Brotherlow

List goes on.i would love to play with some more people from hydro.i respect them and i know there a great team.only person i play with is iwinulooz

I see you would like to run some races with a few more of Hydros members. You can add me bro. Im not the fastest but I do have fun while Im playing. I mostle like 10.1 sec to 11.4 sec FR, MR, and some AWD cars. Add me if you would like. r4a2g0<<<thats a zero.

trying to figure out how they simulate srf

are they tapping on the brakes or -brake as they accelerate to get more traction?

That could work.. Just a bit risky due to the fact human error could push the brake to hard and ruin your run..

Ill definitely add you I'm gonna get on in a few bro.yeah i love to run a little bit of everything.and would like. To run with more hydro players.my account got corrupted so i lost all my cars. So i had to start over ughhhh. But FF cars still learning. But nothing more better than trial and error. Sitting front of the tv for hours trying to get your car, Thousandth second faster brings excitement to me lol but everything else i can tune easily in one try.but the cars out of the ordinary that no once races i love to tune.

About to get on and we are cutting two people in my clan.just irritating to know people have to cheat to play a video game.takes out all the fun oh well

Then you stop and claim that you misshifted, ha!

Nah seriously, the other guys already mentioned how it works (indirectly though).

i dislike it when people constantly miss shift, i've been beaten enough times to know i may not beat that person for a while but when they launch wrong and im gone a few cars ahead, they stop and say redo...... but it's okay.. i have to remember its a game haha

I know that feeling oh so well!!! If people's egos are wrapped up that much in whether they win or lose to an online drag race, they have issues. However, I do have the desire to win just like anyone else and I maintain a competitive edge, but I can accept a loss, or two or five. . .

It works but it's a pain in the ass cause I mess up too much.

zMystery add me, I cleaned out a lot of people off my friends list so I have plenty of room now.

Okay i certainly will

they figure a way to eliminate human error, i did too and so will you all, is a good thing i don't drag race online anymore. also, Gurdanc and Brotherlow are the ones that call them self drag gods and all they run is E-Cheat cars tuned to max out the cheat. i personally lost all respect for them and i consider them as the lowest scum possible.

That's not what I said nor what I meant, making assumptions is silly. I used it as an example, and there are many different nations this relates to, not just the USA. We Australians don't just think of ourselves...

I actually never have seen them before. :censored:ing :censored:s

Guys it's cheating. and that sucks I will stick to racing like always have .real racers much respect cheaters can ........ Off

It's really easy to do i hate it tho and i know everyone that uses it.
