What is an Eid ul-Fitr 2011 for those of us stupid enough not to know (me)?

Specifically, it is the celebrations held at the end of the month of Ramadan.

Haha, same here. The first day or eid, I didn't eat much because it feels really odd and my stomach felt like not eating. A month of fasting changed my diet... Owkey fine it's been like this for everyh year :lol:

The Month of Ramadan is when Muslims spend an entire month refraining from eating or drinking during daylight hours. I think it's supposed to help you reflect on how life is for the less fortunate. Must be a nightmare during the summer months.
