I highly, HIGHLY doubt that a stock "normal" Sprinter Trueno can win here. There are just too much fast cars in here. You should look for the weakest lineup in order to win, in my opinion. There are fast cars with its same horsepower to weight ratio, but that one has mad body roll 
EDIT: About the heavier and weaker car part... I can easily weep any lineup with an Elise 111R. Which is heavier by about 40 kg and weaker by about 10 hp. But even so, it is way too faster than the AE86, since it's MR and a much newer car. So, it really depends. There are cars that are heavy and low powered, but with amazing handling.
Even if handicapped with, let's say, 200kg ballast, I'm sure the Elise would have an easy time with the T350C.
