Burammm
Yesterday I booted up my PS2, deleted my GT4 savegame and started a new career. Wow.. the vast amount of things to do and the polish of it all is just overwhelming again, after the dry spell that is called GT5.

Anyway... just driving around the meandering mountain roads of El Capitan it struck me how beautiful this track is. I wish it was in GT5.

Or better yet, I wish there was an endurance race on El Capitan in GT5. I would do it over and over again. Just me, an Audi or a BMW and the road. For many hours... 👍

That was my favorite track because of that tunnel you went through, and after there is a dip in elevation. Loved landing cars sideways to make the upcoming turn.

It was my hotlap track.

Yea, El Capitan...One of my favourite tracks...I still remember when I made the endurance all over and over with my Black R92CP...So well designed:)

It was my favorite too (in normal, I wasn't a fan of reverse). I loved the normal track most, but all the rally track variations too.

I loved that track, I don't usually like drifting, but I sure had fun drifting the Renault Megane around there.
I even saved the replay of it.
Great great track.

I don't think it was the best track in the game as some are suggesting but, it certainly was a good track. I'd rather have it than Trial mountain or Deep forest....I am so sick of these two 'rally trails' and can't see the fascination with um anymore.

:(

It used to be my favorite among PD's original tracks. Trying to keep it flat through the first kink into the 180, the insanely bumpy hill after the tunnel, the southernmost corner which threatened to throw you into the bridge wall, the undulating kink into the last sweeper.

I would commit serious crimes to get this track back in GT5 as DLC.

I can only imagine how the hill after the tunnel, and the last corner would be flat-out in the X1:drool:

You're not the one that have been missing that.
I too miss that track. Nice flow with beautiful scenary.

Definitely, was my favourite track on GT4, would be fantastic in GT5, especially if the scenery was as detailed as Eiger . This is one track that certainly needs a comeback! Along with Midfield, which has been in since GT2 at least (Never played GT1) and has suddenly disappeared for GT5.. another great track.

Can't forget Red Rock Valley! And yes, Midfield Raceway is a stupid omission from this game. It probably the best alternative to the Top Gear Test Track back then - the lap times were largely the same.

I just can't understand why they dropped such great tracks and kept ones like Trial Mountain and Deep Forest.

Loved El Capitan, and that course on which you rallied for the RSC Rally Car. whatever it's name was, fantastic courses. Nostalgia...

I really miss it, my favorite track in gt4 too. I remember driving here for the first time my Cien lol
Also, i miss città di aria and amalfi... Midfield too... it was my test track.

Costa di Amalfi:D

I can only imagine someone driving the X1 around Citta di Aria:nervous:

I miss all the classic GT tracks. They should all appear as DLC over time. Every single one of them.

Midfield has been my favorite track since i started playing the GT series some 12 years ago. El Capitan and seattle were great tracks too that deserve to in GT5 over pretty much another track.

Please bring El Capitan (and other tracks) back to GT5, Kaz! Not all of us have PS2's and old PS3's, you know...

I'm honestly bored of Tsukuba, Fuji Speedway, Grand Valley Speedway and Tokyo R246. The new tracks aren't exactly up to par with the GT4 ones, in my opinion. And please bring back the Old Rome and Chamonix circuits; the new ones are...meh.

Agreed. I don't even care if they are in the same quality as GT4, I just want them badly :(

Agreed. At this point, I really don't care about PS3-quality graphics. We just want to have more opportunity for fun. I mean, Trial Mountain (according to someone) has GT4 graphics, so why not just port all the GT4 tracks into GT5?

I miss it too, it was a funny track in GT4! I hope in GT6 they will include all tracks of GT4! I don`t think they will build the old GT4 tracks for GT5...
