I just beat the main quest of the game, I also beat the Fighters Guild and the Arena. I still have a lot more to do before the game is over.

Anyone know where I get the armour of champions that you are supposed to get at the end of the game?

THis game is CRACK! Got it for 360 today.

Quick question (that may sound odd): when you level up in strength/gain strength, does your player look stronger? I mean, my dude's pretty 'cut' as it is, but I was just wondering if he got stronger if his muscles would grow, etc...

Nope. i'm lvl 10 now 17 hours in and its getting tougher. I started over cuz my charactor leveled too slow, now I level too fast by using more major skills.

I dont know if this is true but if you go back to a cave after 3 days, it changes. I was in one that took me 25 minutes to clear out.

Shame the xbox verison has all the bugs and glitches from the pc verison.

hey guys there is this badass green bladed sword i found in one of the fighters guilds. its in one of those display cases and there's a silver sword (golden hilt) in a seperate display case right near it... is there a way to get it legally or do i have to steal it? I havent stolen much at all so i would like to get it without stealing... but i'm not sure how to.

Don't bother with the display cases, the stuff in em is all replicas. But, if you still are curious, lockpicks are the way to go.

The plugins you pay for are useless, honestly, I'd rather get the mods the community make, unless it would be a huge expansion plugin, then I would pay for it.

Keep playing and you will run into glass swords. I remember the first time i saw a "Silver" weapon. I was like "COOL" now its been there done that.

Mod I'm using:

More Arrows Recovered
Arctic Fur and bow
Light Elven Weapons and Mithril Armor
Marksman Velocity (makes higher lvl arrows faster)
No psychic gaurds
Obsidian armor
Mercenaries (buy mercs to aid you in quests)
Underground Palace(an secret palace for you to live in)
Pearl Armor
Natural Wild Life (makes animals behave moe like animals rather than instatly hostil)

Where do you get mods people make? Just curious since after I beat the game all the way I might jump into using mods.

hey, I need a tiny bit of help...

I feel a bit newbish, but has anyone dealt with the poison apples? I had enough health potions to last me untill the timer ran out, but it's still hovering in the corner. Any idea to get rid of it? Praying hasnt helped at all :scared: :scared:

Cure poison potion perhaps? I find 'em every once in awhile (haven't had any need yet for them though). Perhaps a potion vendor sells one. Check the emporium in the Market District of the Imperial City near The Best Defense.

I think I'm playing this game far too much... I'm currently Level 26, have 102 strength, 82ish Destruction, 80ish Endurance, and loads of really high Daedric/Ebony Enchanted Armor. I also have a defense rating of 80! I recently got the Grand Ring of Aegis too (if you don't have it, I suggest you get it.).

It's a good thing school is up in a week, I may not see the light of day for awhile except to go to work though.

Just bought this game tonight on a whim, hoping I'd like it since I didn't Morrowind. So far...WOW! I love it. I'm about an hour and a half into the game and I'M LOVING IT! So much detail, especially in the character creation. I'm surprised that I'm liking an RPG. :D

It'll take you about 60-70 hours to get through it, I was amazed at how much use I got out of it.

Somehow I bet it'll take me much longer than that considering all the side quests I've done already at 62 hours of play time. The Allies for Bruma quest takes a huge chunk of time to complete.

I've done everything except the Mage's Guild and Thieves Guild, I'm thinking of starting over though since I had a 100% warrior character that could cast any spells. It made it difficult to win some of the battles.

Just do a fast travel.

well, I wish it were that easy. You see, the poison in the apple works over time...10hp dmg per second. I have around 600 so I can last a minute :D I duped my strong healing potions, and that's how i've been surviving. so if I fast travel i'll get there, but end up dead by the time I am :scared: I cant even wait 1 hour without dying

Hmmm...I'm not entirely sure then. I can't find anything in the strategy guide on how to help you.

Check out the Spellward class or something Paladin-like(custom class you'd have to make since it isn't in the game). I've found that doing the mage guild to the point where you get the Wizard's Fury spell gives you a decent combat/magic character with that class. It was tough going until I got the Major Heal Wounds spell and Wizard's Fury though.

Alright I'll have to give it a try that out, I like being a melee class character but I found with Oblivion you need some sort of caster.

I feel completely newbish haha my guy's lvl 32, and I have armor that gives me 150 chameleon constant, nobody can see me, so I can basically steal, kill, pickpocket whoever I want now haha and my sword does 33+ dmg, and since I linked it to the quest It's weightless (umbra's sword) I really reccoment you look it up. it's one of the daedric quests. Umbra is tough to beat though

We were all new at one point. Welcome to GTPlanet! Enjoy your stay, you'll become hopelessly addicted to posting here like I have.

Nice sword though. My current one hand sword does 22 damage and my shield is 24 defense and huge in size. The daedric armor is really awesome looking... I picked up a daedric helmet yesterday so I've now got a daedric sword, shield, gauntlets, helmet, and cuirass. I still need daedric greaves and boots but I haven't found decent transcendent stones to enchant them with yet.

yeah, I just tried the potion of cure disease and poison, neither of them helped, next i'm gonna see if going to jail and serving a sentence will help, if not I have no clue what i'll do, probably rollback to one of my earlier saves, but then i'll have to do tons of quests over again, and that was a huge pain T_T I even have jabbawack and corrupted skull (great for messing with npcs/monsters)

I've been playing Oblivion with the Oldblivion patch, the newest one has more support for 2.0 shaders, so now it looks decent enough, only thing it doesn't have is the parallax mapping (bump mapping) to make things look like they're popping out.

And I'm also looking for the Welkynd stone or whatever it's called.

if you havent already, you know the ruins you see right when you exit the very first mission out from the sewers? the one with the bandits camping to the right? There's a door if you go straight across the river and in there you can find about 3 or 4. Basically in almost any Ayleid ruins.

Level 32!?!?!?! Good lord I'm only a level 10 and I'm pretty much done with the game, how did you level up so quickly?

The one thing that kind of ruins the game for me is the level-scaling. It makes the world far less believable. It's rediculous running into bandits wearing daedric armor. And the fact that there's noone with a set of ebony armour when you're at level 1, making it really hard to know where you stand in the world.

i'm 33 now, and I get training and such, To level up block I can kinda just stand there for a while, I just got security lv 100 and heavy armor lv 100, but getting 5 levels of training in a thing you major in gets you half a level, it can be kinda pricey though.
