ExigeExcelWhy assume when you could spend 100creds making sure?
It wouldn't cost much and would simply add to the realism of the game.
PhatFatNo it would just be dumb. I dont want to make sure that every time I get a car it isn't limited, that would be stupid.
ExigeExcelSo increasing the realsim of the game would be stupid?
I'm not saying speed limiters are essential, but it's the little things that make the big things big.
SHIRAKAWA AkiraThere could be a warning when you're about to buy a car.
"Warning: this car's maximum speed is limited. Do you want to remove the limiter now?" ...or something the likes of this.
Ummmm, this is a racing game. Doesn't speed-limiting the cars sort of defeat the whole purpose of the game itself?BMW318ciCAs might know or don't know, that most german cars like BMW ,Merc,Audi ,VW for the exception of Porchse ,are restricted to 155MPH or 250 KMPH ,in real world you would need to chip the car to get derestricted .
the Q is do you think cars like M3,AMG ,and S6 ..ect would be restricted in the game or that you have to chip them or do some thing to delimit them![]()
Minnesota01R6I got my stock WRX STi up to 130 mph on brainerd int'l raceway which is 209 kph, so I don;t think it's limited by anything acccept drag - which is why you see top speed limits in car and driver that say drag limited, rpm limited, or ecu limited. My car is definetly drag limited because the stock turbo runs out of boost at high rpms and so the hp drops off significantlly.
also, if you are hurting for credits just get all golds in the license tests.
