I think he has much talent, and he's a good artist. It seems he usues alot of energy when rapping putting alot into it. His lyrics amaze me. he raps about real-day issues, oppessed to most rappers who rap about money, gangs, drugs, cars, women, etc. I'm not saying M doesn't, but alot of his songs have a good meaning.

^ I liked him before when he was a Battle Emcee, he's still an Emcee now.. just not really the same.
His songs are kind of Booty (bad), there are some songs I can listen too.. but alot of the tracks off his cd are just-->

^ Whoa. See thats really not right, yes rap before& now there is content about Drugs, violence, ho ho's, money $$. But there are also alot of rappers that don't rhyme about those type of things even when hip-hop/Rap was just starting out, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Run DMC, Grandmaster flash.. have you ever listen to them?
Or artists now like Common, Talib Kweli, Cali agents, Dead Prez.. and many more? There hip-hop artists that bring more to the music then materialistic things& thugg/gangsta personification.
They rhyme about issues people can really feel&understand and there trying to do their best to represent hip-hop as something good not just for them but for the people&kids that listen to It.
I understand you have your own tastes&Opinions, but don't discredit all of Rap/hip-hop, there's alot of artists that are about so much more when there expressing their music, then expressing crime.

Just so you know there are about ten great artists in the history of the world. Have some standards. What makes Eminem a so-called "great artist?"

And somebody up there said the only listen to rap. That's sad. Rap is fine, but it's not music. So you're missing all the great music... you know, original compositions, arrangements, written notes and layered melodies?

And if you want to argue that rap is music you obviously are not secure with your own tastes. There is no reson to call it something it isn't to lend it credibility as a form of artistic expression. It's more like spoken word accompanied by someone else's music.

I think his songs get better and better. Having said that, I really can't take more than two or three together, it all gets a bit too much.

Lose Yourself is a great track. Musically, lyrically, I think it's like scultpure. The way the tension just builds and builds. I think it's ace.

Though I agree with most of that mile,... the dude is an extremely talented rapper. He's lyrics are very precise, considering the complexity of them (multiple lyrics in very short musical bars (for lack of a better term in MY vocabulary)).
