Greetings everyone.
My name is Triforce. Some of you may already know me, and most of you may not. This post is directed towards the GT gamers in New York city or any gamer in general that resides in New York City that plays Racing games regardless of system or time line. If you are a GT player and are from out of state, and wish to comment on this post then fine, but note I am not a Gran Turismo player, nor a hardcore racer, although I have played many racing games. I just do not play them competitively. I am here on this site for other business.
I am here in concerns of the New York City racing gamers community. Shen Yin of the Hyper Clutch unit of Empire Arcadia tried to assemble a tournament for the racing gamers because he felt that no attention was being paid towards the racing community. Thus a move was made to bring the racers to one location to at least meet each other and congregate. Unfortunately not one person showed up except those from Hyper Clutch. Now there is a preception that Empire Arcadia is a all fighting game organization. Be that as what some of you think, if you know about Empire Arcadia, I just want to be the first to say that we make our best efforts to help the videogame community as a whole.
The point of me being here is to call together a conference of all the racers out there. I am not too sure how many New York racing players are out there, but whether you play casual or hardcore we would like to meet you. For the next two Sundays of this month, both the 18th and the 25th Empire Arcadia invites the GT community and the racing community as a whole, to come out and hang out with us at Neutral Grounds to get a better understanding of what the Racing community wants. There are televisions there, so if you want you can just bring your own system. Race against other gamers there that race, or just conversate about holding and event there or a tournament.
This is not going to be any big event; it is just after careful study of the community "in New York" we found that we have to reconstruct the racing community from scratch and to do this it starts with getting to know the players and what they like, and want. In the mean time, use this thread to make any comments or suggestions that you want in relation to the gathering of New York Cities videogame racers. Hopefully from this, we can work on what seems to be the problem. Until then.
