Karsten, seems you are the only one able to watch the replay ? i have tried 10 times and it freezes just before the start, also i dont suppose you will be able to do a video commentry as its too large to export the file ?

I use a capture card, but to make video of such a uber long race i need people to point me to highlights... Watching 13 racers race for over one hour each is too muich. If people tell me something like "great pass at turn 3 lap one between skeng and filo" or crash at turn x lap x between x and y i would be able to do that.

Don't beat yourself up over it, like I said it is a easy mistake to make.

You've mentioned before this is all new to you so there's nothing to worry about! Just remember for next time! :p

It wasn't just you tho there were a couple of people going back to settings from the lobby and from the track, once spec check is done that's it.
 
i had a great scrap with Eeke over the last 9 laps , and i would like to bet that no one went 4 wheels outside the track less than me, once only if i remember, must be quite a few extra points for the cleanest racer Lol

I ran at 305 bhp as you told me too , even though at the time i wrongly believed i should have been at 310bhp,
so im ok, i always follow the rules, always
 
I think i misunderstood then all is ok
 
I wish i could point out stuff to you but i cant see the replay lol

Id still love to see a commentary video though as its the only way i will probably see the replay til pd fix the bug

Logic , dont worry we all live and learn . Keep practicing the way you do and you will surely be very fast one day .
 
I'll look if i can come out with something, any clue on what lap something cool happened to you? For example what were the laps of the crashes with filo? When you did a great pass? I certainly can't record and commenta one hour and half of race lol
 
Btw has anyone a list of the awol racers? If they won't show up again i'll promote the reserves to full time...

This means some teams will have to reform; sorry about that but all racers seemed dedicated until last second... In any case 13/16 is not too bad!
 
The only thing of any interest in my race was on lap 1 in the chicane before the 2nd long straight.

If you could I'd like to see it....

Think I lost it and hit into Flanked causing us both to spin, mad bean has mentioned he thought flanked was at fault but I have no idea.

I'm not sure if it was cold tires or if I clipped the grass but was a pretty big crash for me.

Always end up nose first into the wall and stuck in gravel :banghead:

so that is why you were so far behind, i'd of thought you would of been higher up the grid!!

Looks like the garaya is a handful to drive because he seemed all over during the crashes

Any target time for monza ? Monza is usually low wear so the other tires might come in useful here .
 
Was a pretty cool battle with Skeng, he started ahead, then I passed him, then he passed me again and I immediately passed him once again etc. but I cannot remember lap number of these... hope my replay will work... I'll try tonight to watch it
 
You guys should write it down during pit stops lol

Should be a closer pack at Monza i guess, as any mistakes there i think is grass and gravel, not so much runoff concrete as silverstone, so mishaps will be very costly i think.
 
Issue with Monza is if you lose the pack missing the draft hurts you quite bad!!

Any news on number of laps yet?
 
Nice race had a some good battles :) Had maybe 8 last laps with logic think i had him last 2 laps but missed and lost that posision :(

Was sure i could get 17 laps on RM at decent phase but think i only got to 14 or 15, Then i changed to RS And was really far behind 1st so the only goal then was to take me to finnish without making a third pitstop. So disent get any good phase and tryed to save tires some laps. But its hard to drive calm, After a few laps i start pushing without knowing so need to balance my driving and find a good phase. And should have jused RS from start.

Hopefully i will drive better on monza but think the brz will have real problems on fast tracks like that.
 
I can't remember a first lap incident with mad bean because I lost control on the third bend. If I did hit you I apologise and it was probably because you were on hards and I was on softs (no idea why you would do that anyway) so didn't expect you to brake where you did.

Also I know what happened with priesty as I already said so I'd appreciate if you didn't accuse me of causing that without seeing the incident.

Any idea about target time? For some reason i never doi well at monza...
 
I'll see if i can record that later today, i watched it without proper attention and it looked like a tap sent a rx7 spinning. In any case i'll try to record and post it.
Btw is it possible to hide names or car name on top of replays? It seems not :(

Ekke, I have been worried since the end of the race as you went offline quite quickly , yes we had a good battle for the last 8 laps as we hunted Karsten down , I know in general you are quite a lot faster than me but as I closed up behind you after my last pit stop at lap 31 I was on fresh softs and I think you had been in the pits a few laps before so I guessed at some point near the end I would have more grip if I didn't try pushing too hard, and I didn't want to slow us down by keeping trying to overtake you so once I tried to overtake then you came back past me I thought I would just follow you while we hunted down Karsten , I was imagining what he must have been thinking as he saw us getting closer and closer during the last few laps , as he had done great to be in 5th place and could see it slipping to 7th place if we passed him , and in the last lap we did .
Also I wanted to Make sure I passed you fairly on the last lap but as you went out of the room I didn't get the chance to see if it was ok with you .

Im sure it was a clean overtake if i remember right i was to late on the breaks and went wide and you passed inside :) I only had 1 lap more on my tires so i don't think it was the cause, it was just me driving bad 50% of the race :)

Yes Karsten, you have a lot of pressure on you as we are all now relying on you so we can all watch the race .
