I have run a 6 practice races with people at the settings for tonight .
3 times it has rained a up to 50% then eased off
once it has rained up to 80% and stayed wet till the end
once it has only showered up to 20%
and once no rain at all
the sad thing is after all that practice i am still too slow and still dont know my strategy LOL
but i do know lots of good crashing places , so it could be anything tonight, to mess up people stategies

i just want make sure with you guys, i clearly wont be dirty, but i might just scrape paint tonight, due to wheel. do you mind or should i use pad?

Go with wheel. Endurance is how i started learning about it. Put ff at at least 6. I'm at 10 now but it takes time. Make sure to start cautious and add pace little by little. Better losing a coiuple positions early and pass later then drown in a sand box ;)

Use the wheel, that's why you bought it. ;)

I might not have my car 100% under control especially on wet, so apologies in advance to anyone I'd bump into. ;)

Easier said than done. :) I didn't have time for training, only managed like an hour yesterday and me & Suzuka & water - not a good mix...
 
Practise been bad not sure whats wrong with me.
Maybe other racing and trying to do some of the game giving me more problems with the car.
Maybe updates changed things, all I know is I'm on and off the track like a yoyo.
It's getting painful now, to the fact I really peed off.

I'll go give my glasses a clean never know it may help

I wear glasses when racing aswell lol does help me tho!

Did you do a chassis restore aswell?

Sorry about earlier, I accidentally left the lobby so couldn't rejoin so decided to play AC4.
 
Offtopic: Yeah, AC4 takes a lot of time. At least I know, who's the friend when it tells me: "You were sped up by friends." :)

Yep.

Altho sometimes it comes up your ships, sometimes it doesn't.

Do you play PS3 or PS4? I finished the storey today so in just doing all the other crap at the mo!

Race started and all I had on screen was you lot and my car.
No rev counter no speedo not even what gear I was in.
Was just like watching a reply????

Did ask for race restart nothing back guess you was all to busy racing.

roll on next race, game updates and bugs letting this game down bad.
Also Karsten your conection had 0 bars on me joining.

Did join Logic room before all 5 bars on show, maybe nothing maybe something to look at.
Tested my conection my end all great.

I've also never heard or seen before what happened to me?

That just really ended my bad race day :(

Great race to watch
i never get disconnected , hours an hours of online practice and it never happened before
tonight just before the race 3 times it happened
then just in 3rd position on lap 16 all looking great , diconnected i am gutted
No highlights , just ran long first stint had good pace, i know i would get into the lead by lap 13 as my pace was good and not pushing too hard as no mistakes. and would have been really good as a 2 stop or even 1 stop as tyres were not wearing on the damp track, pace was good , no mistakes , just so so so annoying , any other night but not tonight ,
i even got disconnected 3 times when i rejoined to watch .
good race to watch though , but i cant even get the replay , just gutted

it happpened to me. press select change view and all goers back in place
 
Seem to be saying the same stuff every race :ouch:

Got caught up in a pretty messy T1, caught the pack back up but then on L4 going towards spoon filo was spinning across the track I had no idea where here was but as of course he was directly in my path.

Lost ground of the pack but did manage to get back to Jorn and over take him, from then on in it was pretty much on my own in 5th, L32+ people started to pit for RS again but I seen people still spinning so I stayed out, got up to 3rd so was trying to make it to the end without pitting as I knew I'd lose places pitting but I lost so much time L35/36 (rear tires at 2/3) so I finished worse than if I had pitted anyway. :indiff:

Could have really done with a pit manager! 💡

Hi Capt , i must say i did see somthing come up on the chat , but its the sort of track you dont get much time to read it if you dont want to crash , you have my sympathies mate .

I never read those messages. A lesson well learnt. Everytime I read them, I crash. :D

LOGIC: if there was a "Most unlucky man on Earth ward," you should definitelly get it. Las race on Monza you had 400 laps of training only to finish last, this time you did well and disconnets. :( In Czech we say something like: "Lucky in the game, unlucky in love." I guess you must have the best wife in the world then...

ah, im embarrased to show my face lool
i think i set wheel up wrong, because it kept handling really bad, near end of race i asked my dad to try it and he said it felt bad too. gotta do alot of practice now this week
@CptMadBean when the game came out, my 1st lobby online that happened to me. i kept driving around like that hoping it would stop. 5 laps of brands hatch like that lool. the next race it did it again, i paused the game then when i continued it worked fine. just more stupid bugs :(

Hi Cpt, i gotta say Monza was a learning curve as have never ran in a track getting wetter before , so really was a bit in the dark as to how tha car would behave and really never thought through the dry line and wet line as on my screen the wet line looked dryer , and i finished 9th but never quit even though i just made so many mistakes once the rain came, but anyway , yes i did practice this time for the wet , and was really in great shape.
I gotta say, in the practice race at Le Sarth i think i finished 4th in a wet wet race , in the Silverstone race i finished 5th
so i am well happy to be honest, as i feel i am getting better positions than my speed on track should get.
Never had a disconect before , and clearly something amiss last night , so so frustrating ,
To be honest yes i am very lucky in so so many ways , and my wife of course is the best in the world, [ she reads this sometimes ]
I shall now be in full practice mode for Spa .
 
Logic: Yep. It's really magic, I can highly recommend. ;)

As for the race: I learnt my lesson at Le Mans (0 % is not 0 %), so when I had to pit in lap 21 (RS tyres were still good, but I was running out of fuel), I took the the full tank and IM and finished last 17 laps on them. In the end I went slowly, but steadily (except for one spin after the hairpin when chasing karsten, who was faster anyway).

I said after race 3 i would look into rebalancing cars if needed. All look ok to me but the brz is being surprisingly underperforming... It did way much better in all test so i do not understand what is up.

Ekke was really fast all the pre-season and looked faster than me at suzuka and silverstone, but all the brz haven't shone.

So i'm asking the brz drivers, it was misfortune, unlucky track sequence, driving or strategy mistakes, or you feel hindered by your car?

If so upping it to 330hp could be approved since spa or we should wait a bit longer before touching specs?

Yes i am suprised too , as Ekke has been getting great times to match the fastest guys when we have been testing together , would it be possible they are affected more than others by the tyre bug after pitstops ?

Yhea i have been fast and have done some pretty good laps on training. But never got a good full race :( And yesterdays race i don't want to talk about :)
When i tested the rx7 and garayia i have always done faster laps in those cars, on all tracks tested. The brz feels impossible to get past the garayia/rx7 especially the garaiya when drafting on straights doesn't matter if i have better exit then the car in front. And when it is the opposite way the cars just fly past me on the straights.

So my vote is to give it some more power if all agree.
