I'm thinking of starting the 24 hour Nurburgring A-spec race. Can you pause during the race and quit the game and continue later when you start the game?

But you can't play any other part of the race.

No. What he means is that it brings you back to the pre-race screen. Then you will be asked if you want to resume. You accept and then you will resume the race from where you paused it.

You can turn the PS3 off but you can't race online or do anything else while you have a race suspended.
