Just wondering why the payout on endurance races is so low. The first one wasn't too bad but for Indy 500 you only make 63000. I think I'll grind dream car Indy. The exp gained is alright I guess.

It's one of the many illogical design choices for the game. Now, the GTFDL will always be there to defend the choice, but it will still continue to make no practical sense. It's like figuring that whether you work at your job for one hour tomorrow or for ten hours tomorrow you should get basically the same amount of pay for the day.

Yeah the payouts aren't great, the prize cars are OK depending on the races (I'm think XJ13 and R8 LMS), but the XP is the main benefit. I guess the idea is by the time you hit level 30 or so you'll have a lot of credits anyway.

Prize cars have little to no value in this game because they can be bought at any time.

kind of keeps me away from the endurance races as i can earn the same exp and cash in a quarter of the time or less

The payouts were just right in the older games, why go so much lower just boggles my mind.

seasonal bonus races pay more in less than an hour than everything else in the game.

the 5 season 7 bonus races are around 7 min each and for all 5, you walk away with ~2.5 million dollars and whatever the total experience that it takes to go from zero to L20.
