I have to agree. The save feature sucks. I wont do any more endurance races because it is the same as no saves. I don't want tie up the game for weeks on a 24hr race. I only play for an hour a day. I'd hate not to play online with friends because I'm stuck on a saved game.
I think the best option would to tie the car to the race. Not the game itself.
This has happened to me twice now while doing the roadster 4 hour. And I can say that I'm pretty positive it has nothing to do with the speed you're going, because after the first time it was the main thing I thought of and so I made sure to practically come to a stop, and sure enough it happened again, this time 2 and 1/2 + hours in to the damn thing. I reloaded the game at least 5 times and just kept happening...not very happy
BUT ... does this apply to online also? Meaning, am I locked out of online for as long as I have a endurance race going on? That wouldn't be nice, especially if we have pre-scheduled events with friends.
Weirdly enough if you save in the pit entrance on Tsukuba 9 hours and resume again the car will drive itself. So it have been for 25 laps now. Has anyone experienced this?
I'm 4 hours into the Tsukuba 9 hour race and saved. Tried to resume later on but the car is driving itself for me also. For me right after I start up and the car drives itself when it crosses the start line it immediately takes a hard right into the pit wall then backs up and goes straight into the pit wall again and again and again. I've turned the console off multiple times and resumed the race but it still does the same thing.
