sorry to troll but, they did not do all the engine sounds with vacuums. it's a really bad joke someone has started.

Yeah, I know...thats why I also said leaf blowers and hair dryers. The only bad joke is the sounds in the game.

If you think the Tesla sounds good...ok. What about the other 1000 cars? Sheesh.

People having A discussion about how bad the sounds are? Is there something I'm suppose to pick up on in particular?

I'm not going to explain it to you but the engine sounds in GT5 do not sound exactly like the ones in real life, I've explained this many times and have always won.

If you beg to differ then more power to you bud. 👍

Ok. So I say that they used Vacuums is A joke. You then basically tell me I have no idea what cars are actually like then, you say they sound nothing like they do in real life. That wasn't my point. Read back, I said vacuums used for sound was A joke by someone and now all you are saying is that they sound nothing like actual cars. I totally agree they sound bad, but go back and look at the point I made.

If you really think people believe vacuums were used for the sound...you are a bit dense. Wow.

They just ripped the sound from the Gallardo and put it into the Murcielago. Similarly, they ripped the sound from the 458 and put it into the Enzo.

I don't care what point you were trying to get across to me. :dunce:

I don't think the Murcielago sounds the same with the Gallardo in GT5.

I've noticed actually that the Murc sounds very identical to the Gallardo, but with more revs. And with more revs, what a sound! :D

Although the Gallardo's sound is literally perfect.

The '69 Camaro Z28 RM has a bad-azz sound to it and is distinctly different from it's modern-day counterpart, the '10 SS RM.

I love the rumble of that engine in the '69. 👍

I have to disagree:

Lamborghini Gallardo (V10 engine)

GT5 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4SV (Sounds similar to the V10 from the Gallardo)

Real Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4SV (How a V12 should sound like)

And don't even bother about how terrible the sounds become after modifications :yuck: The Titanium Racing exhaust apparently includes chiselling off a number of cylinders from the engine :dunce:

LMAO

I don't know what video you got about the Murcielago, but it sounds nothing like the car. Play these ones

And GT5:

... and tell me they did that with a leaf blower lol

👍

Some brainwashed people just can't seem to get the idea that the engine sounds in GT5 sound nothing like their real life counterparts.

........... :odd:

Please turn on your speakers and play those videos again :dunce:

Them lambo ones are quite accurate, while others do appear to be a liitle off.

Agreed. Some are quite accurate while others seem a bit odd...

I'm confused now, are you inferring that it does sound like real life?

If so, which it seems like it you are one of the brainwashed people.

Unless you are hearing impaired, the lambos sound exactly the same. In real life and GT5 :dunce:

What drives (no pun intended) me crazy is the sound of the turbos. They ALL sound like a bus door opening. I actually wouldn't be suprised if that's were they got the sound from.

If you listen to the Mine's Skyline in rl for example the blow off is almost like a squeak it's that fast and aggressive. In the game we get star trek doors opening.

The only Lambo in GT5 that sounds even remotely close to real life is the Gallardo. The Murcielago sounds nothing like a V12. As I have said before, it's sound is simply ripped from the Gallardo.

one of the Elise' in prologue sounded fantastic can't remember which one though, sadly gt5's elise' don't sound anywhere near as good.

And above the comment about the turbo and blow off valve sound, the turbos themselves sound ok you can hear them hitting boost etc but the blow off valves sound, that PSHHHH sound is very annoying wish I could turn it off sometimes lol

Even with my Home theatre system (not a Home theatre system in a box LOL) 5.1ch Pioneer receiver, wharfedale speakers with quality speaker cable running hdmi, the sounds are very average and seem to be lifted from GT4 except for some premiums, theres really no drama with the sounds no explosive backfires or overrun crackles. I guess they ran out of time with the sounds part of the game.
