Engine volume dropping out

Has anyone experienced the engine sounds not working after a pit stop? This has happened twice now and once for an entire race in the TC600 Championship.
Not a good thing as I rely on the engine note for my shift points.

Yes. It seems to be an intermittent bug. The engine sound is gone but you still hear the transmission whine.
