Errgghhhh..... this is truly my Kryptonite... Reverse would be palatable, but FWD....... arrghhh.

Had a really brief go of race 2 this afternoon, and ended up at 100th. A lot of time to shave yet - Congrats mad94d on 4th 👍

I had a brief go. 4th as you say AUSnicko9. Great combo markyboy92.👍 I think getting number 1 is acheivable, I just need to string together a good lap.

Didn't submit time in race1 i missed the deadline. I will be in here today nice choice mad94.

still learning the track.. nice combo 👍

down to 56.736 now.

I think someone will break 56.0 sooner or later.

goods laps from you boys too...👍

love this combo, only shame the gearing of the evora doesn't really suit this track...but he,nothings perfect i guess...:sly:

spyrrari.

had a go and got a 57.1. I really hope I can crack the 56 because that's what most of you guys are on - I reckon it's do-able.
On another note, most of you guys are probably using DFP, DFGT and the G25. Are there any racers using the sixaxis like I am? I have a DF (yeah..the original) that I'm going to crack out when I get my wheel stand, but right now, all racing and drifting is done on m'sixaxis. Anyone the same?

I'm going to have a go at this tonight!! Let's hope I do better than the last race, can't quite remember where I ended up but it had triple figures :ouch:

I gave this a go last night and couldn't even break into the top 100. Any meaningful hints from you guys near the top for those of us looking to enhance our skills? :)

I must admit I've never driven the Evora and I've never done London Forward. Guess I'll start by putting in laps, but sure could use some advice on things to look out for while I'm practicing.

Given the difficulty increase from Week 1 to Week 2 my guess is that come Week 18 I won't even be able to finish a lap.

Right, watch the top few fastest laps and watch the lines that are taken and the speeds into and out of the corners, keep practising until you feel you cant get any faster is the best advice i can give.👍 Its not an easy car, my first ever attempt in the car and to start with i was 2 seconds off but then you gradually find the speed.

Ran some laps offline ofcourse and managed to crack the 56 mark with a 55.965, the limit i believe is a 55.7xx. Is it ok if i run this competition offline and unofficially? Meaning I won't be included in the results, If so I will make a video of this lap and post it here.

Sure, brilliant time, i did 56.266 with once again a mistake by T2 putting me around 0.25 down at that point then a solid finish.

i started in 73rd place than was pushed to 80 something but was able to get back up to 77th place with 58.040

let me give you some advice mate...

download my(or any other fast top 5 drivers)ghosts and notice just how little steering we use...say to yourself that you are not! driving a racing car!!!...you are driving a road car as fast as possible....so,the suspention and brakes are not willing to take much attack from the driver as real racecars would...

so,try to be as relaxed and smooth as possible and at first follow the exact lines we do...than increase your entrance speed into the corner a bit by not braking later but by letting the car roll into the corner with more speed...

if you get this feel..try to be hard on the throttle at the exit of the corner, but "feed" it on...not punch it immediately full 100% when you exit...make it like a graduall flow....fast,but not like a "bang'....:sly:

i guess what i am trying to say in my best english is that i see many people who are struggling are just pushing a roadcar too fast too soon....you just have to do a few laps at 90% speed to try to feel what the car does ,and than try to gradually feed in more speed....

its all about practice and learn from others...👍

hope to have given you lot some good advice here....let me know how you are progressing, and dont feel ashamed to ask me(or any other fast drivers arround here:tup:)more questions....👍

I for one would like to see what the combinations are capable of in your hands. Sub 56 is an astonishing time, but to think you may be capable of a 55.7xx ? beyond belief ! A real shame you can't compete with us online.
Personally, I despise this track, I cannot come to terms with what I need to do to go faster, and I feel like I have hit my brick wall already.
Spyrrari, you gave some good advice (and in very good english!). This combination is a real test of personal limitations, and I hate it! (sorry Markyboy92)!

thanks ripping...

he Dan.(holl01)..what are your problems with the internet connection???can we help you??...

I had a go at this the other day,

Was my first time in any car and its not as bad as i thought,

Key is braking points and getting as close to the walls while maintaining speed.

Will have a real crack when i get a chance.

Had another quick go this afternoon and got to 87th, still a lot more time to shave but that's where I'm staying for now.

WOW Dan! That's very fast.👍 Spyrrari and markyboy92, could you please stop going faster. Just joking. It's great to see us really pushing each other to the limit.👍

Another lengthy go and came up at 57th. I don't think I'll be able to match these incredible times though.
