Looks good, another car I haven't bought in GT5P yet ;)
I'll predict that when I get the hand of this I'll be making 2'12's or 11s :trouble:

MadMax

In the quick 15 minute go I had it seems that the back always wants to overtake the front. So be very careful with it, it may look tame but if you let the back get too far out you will lose a lot of time because it will bog down. Interesting car to drive, but great fun.

Alright, I'll give this a quick go tonight and be back later. ;)

It seems once again the sixaxis users are going to get munted on this one. I think I'm getting a G25 with a wheelstand pro very soon - is it a good choice?

Getting a G25 is good idea, but I don't know about the wheelstand pro as I do not have one.

Buying a DFGT was one of the best things I've done, you've got so much more control and you can be a lot more precise. Definetely check out prices, buying a wheel is definetely worth it, you won't regret it.👍 Don't know about the stand though, don't have a fancy setup(everyone's probably seen my setup:D).

I know what to expect with the stand...read heaps or write ups, but the wheel - I hope the G25 is the right decision.

Anyways, back to topic, I'll have a go in this now. Be back soon. Ps I love the peac colour the opening image has. That's what mine is flying.

Had a quick go and managed to get to 2nd. At least 0.2 left. But after that it'll be difficult to find more time.

80Y 2C2, I bought a DFGT because I couldn't afford a G25. Even a DFGT is worth it, so much better than a sixaxis. I love the feel of the DFGT but i've heard that the G25 is much better than the DFGT. I think buying a wheel is definetely worth it, just read Synwraith's write ups.👍

I had a quick 10min go and I'm up to 14th, plenty more to shave though.

Just a few tips for this week's combo:

-Stay in 4th gear at the end of the main straight, don't shift up to 5th. You'll lose a few hundredths if you do.
-Try and be as smooth as you can on the steering go through corners, any sudden movements and the back will step out.
-'Slow in fast out' is very much the case with this car. Take a wider line into the corner, therefore you're able to get onto the throttle earlier and the back of the car is less likely to snap sideways. This tip mainly concerns the Dunlop Hairpin and coming onto the back straight off Spoon.

Hope these help.👍

Could someone PAL send me a replay through PM so I have a ghost to play with? I would download one, but I'm on dial up and have been before the PS update, so I can't get onto the PSN.

Ity has to be better than 1.13 (is that easy or hard? I don't know!)

I think I am struggling with this one but its a really good combo:tup:

EDIT: sorry about the double post

I'll send you a replay. PM me your email address and i'll send it. Or I could post it here?

You can't attach files via pm. I'll post it in here tomorrow.

Love the tips! 👍 makes the title even more justified

I used to love his car around here, i remember i used to be the fastest around here with a controller[faster the tka_tha the suzuka specialist who had a g25 and used to hold like 65 records around suzuka] but i havent raced with it since. That is one of the only cars where the controller has a chance to beat a wheel.

GAH I keep messing up the right left 90* turn combos at the end, and when i do get through ok i end up slipping off at the next turn because i'm turning the other way rapidly making me spin :( (cruddy sixaxis)

Pointers to help?

-GK

ok i am back in the action. missed out on the last 2 rounds :grumpy: hopefully i havent forgotten how to use the controller lol. will give this a go and see what happens 👍 it feels good to be "home"

At Casio chicane the car doesn't handle the kerbs or changing direction very well. Haven't figured out the 'trick' yet.

I used to like this combo with sixaxis too markyboy. I used to use this car in the Suzuka 750pp race.

P.S I tested the tuned Viper and Vette, super hard. So I chose the Lotus, much more fun and less frustrating.

Had a midnight session last night, pretty hard combo but I know I'll improve by a couple of tenths, just have to nail all the corners reasonably and I'll have a 2'08.3xx

Wow, Very fast lap Dan. No way i'll go that fast before the deadline.

Awesome combo maddy i love this car and track!

Hopefully put a decent amount of laps in this week 👍

Improved to a 2'08.922. Was following jinxstir's ghost. I lose all my time through the esses, specifically turn 3 of the esses and Dunlop curve. It's frustrating.:banghead:

I'm still off the pace overall. But can see lots of time to make. The esses is where I always make up time, the suzuka esses are my sweet spot in GT5, if I could only be as good everywhere else !
