yup its awsome, i drive like Takumi. :) ......

drunk on colt45 and high on weed

actually im pretty good. I really understand what it means to attack a corner now. In other autosport games, you can't tell the difference between following raceline going fast, and "attacking" a corner.

"attacking" a corner in GT3 was a frustratingly dull experience. The cars just wouldn't react, as if they were doused in syrup.

Yes, that is the BMW M1 ProCar.

The original M1 road car has yet to be seen, but I don't see why it won't be in.

IMO, due to bunch of Asian cars in GT4, KY didn't spend enough time looking through the history of European cars. Otherwise, he should have brought back the 8-series and added the M1 and Z8. How can KY not see to add the BMW Z8?

yeah....the inclusion of proper bimmers in GT4 is good (anything is better than a lone 328Ci!), but they omitted some very historical cars...

btw, The lancia I was talking about was the road version of the 037, and the Fiat I was thinking of is the 131 Abarth Rallye (very cool car)

Enthusia is not being released until may according to gamestop. I think they know that people are going to need to play gran turismo 4 for atleast a couple months before trying anything else.

Well, the game Juiced acutally got pushed back to Summer '05 b/c of GT4. Juiced's creators knew Juiced wouldn't have a big chance against GT4, and didn't want to be an unknown, lost in the crowd game.

They've also done it to avoid MC:3.

Need for speed Underground 2 is a Advanced racing simulator compared to juiced.. well, atleast the demo is. :dopey:

Well you can always play the import first :) The current Japanese scheduled release date is March 17, so it's not that far away.

Ah this is crap. GT4's delay messes up Enthusia's marketing strategy. :ouch: PISSED
If Konami had been smarter, they could have exploited the GT delay and relased Enthusia before GT4 is out. That would have been the best strategy for them, instaed of acting as a "me too" ( read:delaying the game as PD did )

Except March 8th has always been the release date. They only recently finnished it last week. GT4 was suppose to release early last year. I will be importing this bad boy.

I've seen a pic of the 037 (road version), but none of the 131 Abarth Rallye. Are you sure this is included??? Have you seen it? If so, can you provide the link?

That is one of my all time fav cars.

The more i see screen shots of enthusia the more impressed i am. I just hope it plays as well as it looks.

Wonder when it will be released in Australia.

no tuning? at all? realistic driving physics are good at clutch is really good. how can it compare to gt4 when it doesnt have one of the main gt features?

I have a few questions I admit I didn't read the 2 pages from 100 post per page but is the game also available in PAL?
Will it be online?
and finally will there be visual tuning? Or like GT4 --> wheels and spoiler options?

Nice that Enthusia has skidmarks and full lights (I hope reverselights). And finally the cars get dirty instead of GT4 where they have since GT1 a car wash but the cars didn't get dirty.

it's on the enthusia website:

http://www.konamistudio.co.jp/enthusia/

check out the latest batch of screens; there's a render of the Abarth Rallye in it.

I also love that car, it was in SegaGT2002. come to think of it...that game had a lot of really cool cars that GT never had.

Jedi2016
If you look at the video, the game also has the DeTomaso Pantera. :)

yeah, but you have to look pretty closely. ;)

somebody's been rewatching it!

btw, what do you think of the CG? looks pretty cool to me, especially the part where the guy drifts the SLR into a tight corner. I love CG game intros.

But it seems they forget to animate the real spoiler that comes up by braking

But you right about the cars. They will indeed have some Cars GT never have, and I don't know why. GT4 could have aswell SMART and more SUV's in it.

Ok, I've seen it, thanks.

It is a road version also. I hope they have the rally cars (enthusia guys, if you are reading this, I want both the '79 red/green Alitalia and the '80 blue/white FIAT. AND, both the Walter Rohrl and the Markku Alen cars, please :D )

About this game: I've read somewhere - don't remember the link - that in races we have race points at the beggining and we can lose them if we make serious mistakes (hit walls, hard hit other cars, etc.). If the points drop to zero we're out of the race. Black flag, I guess. Did anyone else read this or has any other info on this "feature"?

No they didn't. If you watch one of the 1st 3 videos released to web, you'll see the SLR's spoiler come up, as it should, when it brakes.

you're right WOW this game is really good :)

skidmarks 👍
night and day driving 👍
dirt on the car 👍
dakar tracks 👍
more SUV's and normal streetcars 👍
and so on...
