Then passerby speeds in his new Enzo. Police pulls him over. Checks for the car's registration etc etc. Passerby doesn't own any of it as the car was never his. Courts convict him of stealing (they don't believe that a million dollar car was just given to him), and he gets his hands cut off (do Arabs still cut off hands for stealing?)

I think the hand cutting part is only in Saudi Arabia and doesn't apply to the U.A.E.

As for the car i'm pretty sure it was impounded for a lot of traffic violations/parking tickets as it was abandoned, and the owner hasnt bothered to pay them to get it back. Probably because they have left the country or are in jail, preventing them from retrieving the car. Which is why it's sitting in this state right now..as we speak..probably forever and ever.. :(

Faith in humanity restored! :p

That's great! I hope the new owner drives it around a bunch. No point in letting it sit around even more.

I wonder how much it will sell for. The interior's probably ruined from sitting in the desert so long.

Would you guys please lock this cuz lots of racism against arabs here and going off the topic

BTW these cars which are abandoned are abandoned for two reasons either the car is damaged or the owner have left the country

go down south in the states, theres abandoned cars like this (well not ferraris) but classic muscle or classic exotic.

If someone found that Gullwing 300SL in a barn, then it's hell of a find. Those are rare, and looks like it may be an aluminum body one (which is even rarer). A restored one of those can easily fetch a million dollars at auction.

As can the Miura. I'm sure they are already being restored to their former glory if they haven't already.

I hope so.

The really sad thing about some of these barn cars is that they're owned by people who've seen what mint condition original examples sell for, and won't settle for any less, even though the car is almost rusted into scrap. These cars just sit and sit, and they owners always think that one day, somebody's gonna come along and pay them a million bucks, while the car eventually decays until it's worthless.
