Haven't you just made a race car then?
lol exactly. I don't see why fully tuning supercars is fun. Fully tuning tuner cars makes more sense. It seems odd to do something impossible with a supercar unless it's just all about winning. I'd rather have the challenge of using an average car and making it into what it should be. A Speed Demon. It's preference, but I want to make it a law.

Hey I bought the zr1 and the mp4 Im getting the mp4s tune pretty good but whats a good setup for the zr1 im doing drags with it I seen another guy with one and he destroyed me lol

Mess with the fully-customizable 6 speed transmission. And before a race, heat up your tires for better grip.

its not fun so much, its just im sick of getting killed by tuned Enzos, they leave the Z06 for dead.. after reading the threads i think i might do an R8 V10 and ZR1

that's sad man. Do people have any pride left? In this case, anything goes and we're all millionaires. Online races should have more specifics to them. More options, more game modes. Like a set up of a drag race at any track with a straight longer than half a mile. Can't wait for the extra tracks. ahhhhh!!!!!!!!!! it's gonna feel sooo goooood!

Midfields main straight would be PERFECT for this! And i guess youre right i should be satisfied with what i have.. lol its kind of a pointless expense for bragging rights online

If you're looking to buy your first supercar, I'd by the McLaren MP4 instead.
It can do everything the Enzo does, for half the price.

yeah but dont have the acceleration or top end bro lol

dont know what rooms you guys are draging in but the ENZO is one of the fastest cars to drag there is in this game test your facts. If I were you and are looking into dragging check out special stage 7 and bring your ENZO someone might help you with some tips about tuning for drag raCING.

i agree man the only thing that can beat an enzo is another enzo or a veyron. i think iv dragged with u before badre4, correct me if im wrong lol:crazy:. i have a fast enzo if ur interested

Buy the car, tune it, win cash in the new seasonals, then buy all the other cars people gave recommended on this thread. I've said it before, but credits are so easy to come by these days, most either/or conversations are rendered pointless unless it's in your UCD and racing might make it disappear

Massive understeer on turn in and snap oversteer on corner exit. I just hate the way the car feels and I've tired various tunes posted here. There are many other cars that have handling issues that are a lot more enjoyable to drive (Yellowbird for example). I suggest buying the McLaren F1 or a Ferrari 430 Scuderia instead.

Well I think ill buy both. Ill use the enzo for drags and use the mp4 for the circuits is the zr1 good car and is there any other cars like the lambo sv I love that car. As you can see im new to gt5. lol
come drag me:sly:

One of my favorite cars in the game, and very sexy if that counts for anything. :)

I've got Black Wheels on mine. It looks evil. I've almost fixed the understeer, you need a lot of outward Toe on the front wheels. I'm going to buy two of each road Ferrari, and have the Stock ones Rosso Corsa and the tuned ones Nero with black wheels :)

I am really trying to like the Enzo's handling but it really has a stiff feel when turning in. People here say that it handles fine and have to learn to drive it. Can you elaborate on this? Even on racing softs it is quite difficult to get the turn in right. I think a lot of people try to get on the 'Elite' bandwagon by saying it is a great car. It is crap in my books. Please prove me wrong.

The people who say that are full of crap, because they are fanboys.

The Enzo handles terribly in gran turismo 5. Google it. Its no coincidence.

I've tried a good 5 different tunes on it. It just doesn't turn.

Outside of drag racing and the ferrari seasonal, it has no practical application.

It is one of the fastest road cars in the game around a track, I've been driving it on sports softs, had no issues with understeer and it is lapping similar laptimes to the Ferrari 458 and Mclaren MP4-12c, a little faster than both on many circuits.

Sorry to be another to say, learn to play. Knowing how to utilise the weight of the car and lift off oversteer makes a difference.

Also, 5 different tunes? Assumes you're not running the Enzo as stock, with upgrades it should be even better. But then maybe you're also tuning the engine for more power? If so, what do you expect? Same would happen in the real world.

I think it is a great car, is it easy too drive? No not as easy as a 458 Italia or a Scuderia but it is a lot faster and more powerful than they are when tuned fully. I have about 14 of em as well as a bunch of just about everything else. As already stated, learn to drive it properly and you will love it.

It's incredible that no one has mentioned the Enzos lack of downforce in the front, which is its biggest flaw of all :) . But if you add a good amount of ballast in the front you can compensate for that to some extend. That way you'll have a much better car overall (not drag of course).

I have to give it another go now. I might be getting too concerned with cornering speed as I have to slow down considerably to compensate for the understeer.
I am assuming you guys are enjoying this car in stock form (apart from tyre upgrade?)

I like it. I've had many fine online battles with it on the ring. It has it's quirks, but I've managed to work around them.👍

Yep, stock with sports soft tyre upgrade. Slow in, fast out and make the most of the off throttle oversteer.

I think the Enzo is fine. But then I only use it to grind the Sarthe Ferrari seasonal for easy quick cash. Can have lots of fun in 3 mins with it.

Just buy the enzo and don´t touch the power or weight tuning parts.
Stock it is almost a Dream to drive. It Corners, it Brakes and it is still a accelerating beast.

I do have a Maxxed Enzo but my stock one drives much more smoother and easier to tame.

F430/-Scud/458 are faster ??
Easier to drive: Yes.
Faster: not for me and I have driven all of them at every Ferrari Seasonal Track and the Enzo is always the fastest on the Tracks (Time- and Speedwise).
The Max tuned Enzo is just always too fast. La sarthe seasonal Mulsanne before first chicane: 388kph
My Italia only gets 340 kph (?? or a bit more/less) and that is at every occasion
=> you might think it doesn´t turn in, but the reason is not the car itself its the input ;)
Also some say the Enzo has bad brakes => same as above

I thought the same as all other complainers but after tweaking the Settings and driving a Stock Enzo made me realize this.
And now I like the Car very much and I think it is a very good Car, although it´s still a backslasher if your not fully concentrated.
(Above is just my opinion)

It's completely up to the tyres and your driving style man, if you're a stick-to-line type or who don't want the car to slip away even at a slight turn for fear of diverging from the best supposed line, it's unsuitable. But anyway, you need certain amount of practice to get accustomed to steering the car, as long as you can adjust yourself into the taste of the car, the car will be very useful and reliable to you.

is the enzo ferrari a good car I hear alot of bad things about it so I dont know if I should buy it is it good for drags or is there somthing better

I love the ferrari enzo. It's made me millions of credits and tons of gear in the online seasonal event La Festa Cavallino(sp). You have to tune it properly and learn how to steer/brake properly. It's the best ferrari except for the F1 cars, which you can only use in limited races. There are suspension settings you can use to make it more stable, as well as weight reduction and good tires. I have about 14 of them in all the standard colors plus ones that I painted. Between that and the Formula Gran Turismo, they are my workhorse cars. The Lexus IS F racing concept handles extremely smooth and responsively, but doesn't have as much horsepower

Tips for driving the Enzo when it's maxed tuned: Don't oversteer, especially when you feel some slipping, you'll just start fishtailing and eventually spin out - let off of the gas instead. Begin braking early and I tend to pump the brakes at high speeds - especially when braking around a curve. You can jam on the brakes if you are going straight, just make sure you are pointed straight.
