Error 80022A07 - Can't sync trophies!?

So every time I want to sync my trophies I get this error.
I've searched on google but no success.

Any idea what's wrong?

The error is a server time out. Keep trying eventually it will fully update not really a big issue. I just got done restoring my PS3 and I get the same error when syncing my trophies.

Well this is happening to me since last week and ever since I can't sync it. I also can't access into my account or compare trophies with others.

That MAY be the error I was having shortly after the last firmware update. I didn't do anything at all and it just randomly fixed itself. That said I did reset up the network settings (although exactly as they were before when it wasn't working) but I think that was purely coincidence.

Same here. It has fixed itself, and now it's back to showing me the error.

If you keep trying 4-6 times one after another it will work. It is a problem since the latest firmware update. Not sure why it is happening though.

If the servers are really getting pegged, then hammering them a few more times isn't going to help everyone else.

I sometimes get the same message. Unfortunatly, there is nothing I know that can be done. Just try syncing each day and hopefully you'll have some success.

It may work trying to sync early in the morning, when the servers aren't crowded.
I'm also having this problem and I didn't find another solution.

For some reason it never does it to me when I'm in game and I go to my trophies list. Try that and see if it works for you or if its just an odd fluke for me.

When you are in a game the ps3 does not sync trophies. It will try to sync your trophies though if you go to your profile card to check your level.

This worked for me as well... I just kept trying and all of a sudden it worked...

I too have tshi problem, and as suggested, patience is the key. I saw somewhere online peopel talking about it and suggesting that we just keep trying. It worked on my third or forth try in a row.

My best guess as to why is that whatever they did to link the trophy server to Facebook is creating issues.

If so then I think this is reason 36 for hating Facebook.

Yes, but most of them consist of times when I was playing an online game and my wife signing on, which quickly killed my game connection. The rest consist of episodes of my wife telling me the entire life story of an old high school friend she just got back in touch with through Facebook.

Her: "I just found Emily (made up for this example) on Facebook."
Me: "Who is Emily?"
Her: "A friend from high school."
Me: "So, I don't know her since we went to school three counties apart?"
Her: "Right. You know what she's been doing?"
Me: "No, but I bet you're going to tell me."
Her: "Yeah, she blah blah blah blah"
Me: <Pulls out PSP and loads Gran Turismo> "Uh-huh. Wow."

I have the Trophy Sync problem too - have tried several times in a row - and no luck - will keep trying and report back if/when I succeed.

Oh my god, I thought I was alone but apparently Foolkiller feels my pain. I have to live through that almost every day, and I don't know how to tell her that I don't care because I have never met and will never meet these people in my entire life, and what they did as a kid or in highschool really isn't as interesting as she thinks.

Suprisingly it worked today. I was shocked that it worked.

Last two weeks I was pulling my hair why the **** I can't sync ma trophies.

I saw on other forums that this is regular problem.

Perhaps they fixed something on the servers...

Anyone else still not synced?
