European Release Date?

I dont know if this means anything but the GT5 prologue site, the one that just shows the video appears to be down. I've tried it with 2 different browsers and it didnt display. Maybe they are changing it to something similar to the Japanesse site, possibly with a release date!
Or is this just wishful thinking.
 
I think we (europe) will have to wait until April 17th, like our fellow Americans.

Yeah thats the one. It normally shows a list of countries and then when you pick your country it shows a short video of GT5P. But now they must be working on it.

Saw GT5P on the shelf in perth the other week, all packaged up ready to be bought, i preceeded to ask the guy behind the desk whether it was an australian release or the japanese version. He said quote, "what country do we live in mate, of course its australian." Wasn't till i went to actually buy it that i looked on the back of the cover and is was all written in japanese!!! Gave the guy behind the desk a real serve after that.....

I think its official now, according to that thread about the new steering wheel. GT5P will be released in Europe on the 28th of March. Weirdly earlier than USA!
 
Official Belgian release date: March 28.

Weird? It was announced for release in PAL territories well before the US.


*EDIT* that local game store of mine I talked of earlier has now been told to expect it to come in March 27th.

It's finally been confirmed! I apologise for doubting my source earlier in the thread! She's done me proud.... Still doesn't mean that i'm buying it from Zavvi though considering that Play almost always dispatch orders early!

I received GT4 from play about 5 days before the official release day back in 2005!

Right.....now i'd best go dust of the ol' driving gloves.
