I'm looking for Event Info / Car Selection data, specifically Car and Tyre selection for the Endurance races. I'm looking for a realistic experience and challenge.

Suggest you see what the AI is using and run similar.

Ai mostly run stock but in the Dreamcar championships im sure the silk cut jaquar is tuned as its quoted as around 967 bhp. look at the small tabs above the event on the event screen to see tyres and car types.
Any particular race ?

Suzuka 1000 onwards.

Do you mean tyre restriction, typical opponents weight and power, and entry requirements?

Can you please be more specific?
When you go into a series with individual races, above the row of races, there's a paragraph explaining the qualifications and such. And if you move the cursor up from the individual races, you can see the "Typical Opponents", Tire Requirement and other race qualifications. Next time you do a race, you should clearly see it.

Sorry if I didn't explain it well enough. But you should get what I'm saying next time you go to do a race.

Did you know about that? Sorry for over-explaining too. You didn't need the part about the paragraph once I found that picture. Damn it, and the guy above already told you. My bad lol. It's hard to focus right now.

Thank you both, I am aware of these menus. l was hoping I had missed some other list that showed opponents set-up, either in game or here on GTPlanet.

They're all stock. None of them are suped up any more than when they're purchased. I barely learned this about a month ago, too.

One suggestion is to check the B-spec tire restrictions as they will give you a better idea of what the AI is using. A-spec tends to be unrestricted for most races while your poor Bob has to use tires more or less equivalent to what the AI uses on its cars.

The A.I. will always run stock unless noted otherwise. That means stock everything: engine, tires, chassis, everything. The seasonal events maybe the only exception to the rule, as the description of the race flat tells you what PP and tire setup the A.I. will be using.

Thanks, that makes things easier.

I'll give that a look, should confirm the above.

Also, the A.I tends to used soft comfort, hard sports, or hard racing tires depending on what class they're running, unless stated otherwise. Lower class cars use comfort, high performance sports cars use hard sports, and any race car (any class, RM, LMP, GT, etc.) will use hard racing or less. Again, there might be other exceptions to this rule, like seasonal and special events.
