not sure why so few 1/4mile guys are interested in this event...

but I can say that I personally am not interested because I just don't feel like tuning for a distance that I will never run again...

not only that but everyone knows that 1/4mile tunes do not translate to longer distances.. but that tunnel tunes can normally do rather well in shorter distances.

I just find it funny when tunnel tuners come to the 1/4mile and say oh you "only" beat me by 1-2 cars ... sure 1 or 2 cars in the tunnel is not a big difference but in a 1/4mile where most races come down to inches... a full car is a big difference.

really? is that so? most of the time when i join quarter rooms, when i do, i do a tune in almost 10 minutes and am way less than two cars, like less than half to a quarter, XD idk what tunnel tuners you been racing lol. (p.s. 2 cars i dont consider very close in tunnel even, personal opinion)

I mean take in consideration the time it takes between the two to tune, an okay quarter tune takes 20 min- half an hour, while an okay tunnel tune takes at least three times longer and even more depending on the car. both ways of tuning are different. quarter tuners need to learn to adapt xD. (friendly competition is epic lol)

The entire SSR7 crew showed up, confident as usual. For the Indy team, it was only me and ptk14. We ran speed 12's first. d24Fan had fastest Speed 12 but ptk was less than a car behind. Mine still needs work from 2nd to 3rd shifts and only beat about half the SSR7 tuners (The best of the best SSR7 tuners mind you ). ptk14 left and I was the only one left to represent Indy. Next we ran Veyrons, mafia's apparent favorite car. I lined up next to him, muscles tensed up waiting for tree to ghost. He goes clear and we're off. 1... 2.... 2 and one half cars ahead and I bring the Veyron trophy home to Indy

I will admit though that you were ahead (JUST!) at that point. As for our view from the tunnel side, since it was a preview, we held out on bringing out Fuji tunes and stuck to bringing out what we use in the tunnel. But that's not to say that we weren't impressed with what ptk and DLR brought out, because they were killer cars....the Veyron impressed me the most from them two. 👍 Tree lag sucked for me on my end though, it cost me so many races. 👎

Much respect to you both. 👍 Now, get 6 others of that caliber and we might have a good competition going.

Between me and slump, it was down to launch. But yea, def a good competition! Some people said this straight was too long and SSR7 people had the advantage but IMO it was the perfect length as illustrated last night. If 2 little anonymous "Indy kiddies" gave you trouble just wait till we get the best of the best

Good stuff guys. And now that you think of it, this might spark an even bigger rivalry between the 2 camps Shame only 2 came out to represent Indy.
At least now the SSR7 guys can say they are more dependable than Indy guys lol
And tree lag sucks... just today I experienced a full 1 second delay on when I saw the ghost from the others :/

I will record and post the official event. I did record this but its not very interesting really... there wasn't really any structure to the event just people running each other...
