EVENT SUSPENDED!! - Indy Tuners vs SSR7 Tuners Face-Off

Between me and slump, it was down to launch. But yea, def a good competition! Some people said this straight was too long and SSR7 people had the advantage but IMO it was the perfect length as illustrated last night. If 2 little anonymous "Indy kiddies" gave you trouble just wait till we get the best of the best

If we pulled out our Fuji tunes there would be no contest. But I will respect that your Fuji tunes could more than hang with the tunnel tunes that we have. To beat my Hybrid 6 tune up to 225mph isn't an easy feat as many people can tell you. 👍 But tree lag was killing me.....on one launch, you left me by nearly 5 carlengths, it was only off Biffington's tree where I got a 1/2 decent launch due to a much more even ping between us.....and then we got taken out.

I can't wait to see the result's of this drag battle, it will be interesting to see what happin's when the tunnel boy's pull out there car's for the actual event! I know for a fact mafia and the boy's didn't give it there all so should be good.

Well when you pull out tunnel tunes to race just under 1/2 the distance of the tunnel you know we aren't giving it everything, but after iWin gave both GME & ProSpeed's tunnel tunes a defeat (my Hybrid 6 & dr24's tunnel tune!), dr24 wanted to pull his Fuji Veyron out and just end it all. Like he said, thank god ctsoldier talked him out of it. I looked at it a bit differently and felt that we might have a real close contest here, and might have to put a bit of effort into this. 👍

Let's just say this, that if ptk & iWin really pulled their finger out and actually did a full tunnel Veyron each, they WILL rank in the Top 20 without a doubt, right up there with the rest of the pro tunnel guys. 👍

I like the overall idea about this event, but I don't like the execution.

There are a few things that I would change if I were to be running this event.

Starting with the cars.

I would only have cars in the event that BOTH sides use. I NEVER see speed 12s or Caddys in the 1/4mile.

Also I wouldn't use all top level cars. With over 1000 cars in this game why do we always have to use the top 10-20 cars.

The track is OK, but I don't like the finish point because there is no clear finish line.


So as of this point I am not interested in this event.

well... the reason top level cars is because they are the main uses in drag tuning, they are the most common, you dont see sunfires or accords or things like that as frequent (and btw you hardly ever see zz2s or lemans in tunnel in return to your comment on caddies and speed 12s), yet i would agree with the finish line, but the error in that is that people aready tuned for the current lines.

Hardy ever see, or never see.. no one runs speed 12s or caddys in the 1/4.. I mean no one.

I suggest using a diverse group of cars.

A few top level such as the enzo and the acr.

But then perhaps cars like the supra, chevelle, evo, lotus, dodge ram... just to throw a few out there. The point of this is to see who the better tuners are, not who can take their current tunes and modify them.

I really want to do this. But people are taking this way to seriously. It's a game for crying out loud! What originally started as some friendly competition ended up in serious fights and grudges, sometimes somewhat humorous

You do realize that Team Elite isn't anything special. They just have name recognition. Im cool with them and to be completely honest, I don't see them as any better than my own team. iwin, you seemed to think that having kraven on our team was some great achievement but news flash... it wasnt...

When we all heard about the event, I started tuning with the members of the indy side (including elite). I got to really talk with kraven for the first time, and I could really care less about who he thought he was. Stating things like, "Haven't you heard of me before" and "I am the best out there." I just responded, "Yea ive heard your name but I can really care less about what people think of you. Im not one who will suck your d*** for tunes or ask for help because I know what im doing." After several weeks passed, we all met at fuji and we could see who really were the best racers out on the track...

I would suggest inviting L8R because he has the cars tuned already... we dont need any more help lets just get it done

ONE: Not KRAVENRAW, or anyone for that matter, told me to remove SCCREEEM or nVsLunaChick from the list. I PM'd them before I did it with full detailed reasons. I also said they are more than invited to the next competition.

TWO: The reason they got kicked is because the Indy group is supposed to represent ALL OF 1/4 DRAGGERS. Each team tunes differently. If half the team is from team Elite, how is that fairly representative of the 50+ pro tuners that I know? It's like trying to represent 8 of the best pickup trucks but 4 of them are Toyotas....

I realized this is just a game when i went to gamestop to buy it. And so what if 4 people from the same team were on it why does that matter when you couldnt even fill 8 spots up. i could understand if you had more than 8 people but you didnt so now you set the indy group back. lets be real here you are basing this event on what you want, not what the majority wants.

an idea: get your indy crew create a room of 16 and invite the ssr7 crew talk it out and figure out what everyone wants

I'm still confused considering they were no longer on that team well before the event.

Also if Dodge doesn't want to do NASCAR anymore does that mean we can't have NASCAR with just Chevy/Ford/Toyota?

I respect what you are trying to do with this event. And I wish the indy side all the best.
