I've officially collected every single car in GT5+DLC cars, who else has done the impossible?

I achieved this... 4 months ago? I only started really collecting a month before completing my garage.

It is, technically, impossible to get every car in the game. Include the chromelines, gamestop cars, all stealths, promo cars like Edge camaro, ect. Not possible

Not totally. You COULD modify a few cars to swap everything and get the special cars. But, that's outside the games original limits, so not "legit."

I can't bring myself to buy every car in the game when many are the same car essentially with slightly different names or quite simply cars I have no desire to drive ever. Clutters up the garage and I cant wrap my head around the "why"

If thats the case, then its just as legit as the guy who just gives himself every car in the game with the hacking tools, in other words, not legit at all.

I have recreated the cars that were not available here in America the Audi R10 TDI Stealth and the Jaguar XJ13 Chrome Line, now I am looking for the info to turn a regular 787B into a 787B Stealth Model. I have even recreated the other pre-order cars.

You then have access to any car, at any time.

I personally also wanted to know how many bloody repeats PD put in, so I could then say 'ok well there's 9 3000GTs, but only 3 of them are unique' (paraphrasing, haven't researched any yet). I'm only missing 8 out of 1109 (and only 2 standard).

I've bounced off 2000 cars for about 6 months.. Haven't seen a missing check mark in the ucd in years.. Lol

I have every car I can get, every unique color race car and unpaintable car i can get, and they are all under 10,000 miles.

If you were asking me, no, and I don't care, I'm only interested in collecting whats in the main game, stealth or chrome cars aren't in my scope, nor do I really care because they would've cost like $30-50 more dollars for them, when they're essentially existing models you can get for free...

EDIT: I'd pay to remove that NASCAR, and all the others personally, I spent 10 minutes nerfing them so when I order by PP desc. where premium & FR I'm not flooded with them in my listing initially.

Not in this game. Career mode is too short and AI isn't very challenging. Racing online would be fun, but the lack of matchmaking makes it difficult to find rooms I want.

I honestly think this is an amazing accomplishment for GT5. VERY time consuming. I have slowly been working on this but the 20 million limit makes it much harder than you would think. I just hit 200 this weekend. LONG way to go and since I never plan to buy the dlc, I will never have every car in the game anyway. Plus I will never even finish all the licenses. So I am sure I will miss cars because of that too.

I already have access to every car in the game. My confusion is in this is a video game, even after "collecting" every car in the game you still have exactly the same as you had when you started, nothing.

Collect Stamps, comics or something, heck marbles.

BTW Secrete Menu can make the AI challenging, you can make them impossible to beat if you like...

I won't waste time trying to justify something I did in the game 2 years ago, back when I still wanted to feel I got my money's worth and back when I still had hope PD was going to fix the problems I had with GT5.

And thanks for the advice, but once GT6 was announced, I uninstalled GT5 from my PS3.

Remember the GTPSP Scheduled release date & the GT5 scheduled release date? I wouldn't hold my breath unless GT6 is just GT5 with a few more premiums, tracks, improved physics and grafics...

Its all good, I dunno, most games I beat in a week of casual playing, GT does keep me occupied between new tittles & when board and I want to drive in a Driving Game, its probably the ONLY game I ever spend much time on even 6 months after buying. I've spent 15 years getting used to GT as its progressed lol if not for that I might be playing Forza.

Anybody else feel like the loyalty they have had for PD over the last 15 years has gone unnoticed. The only vision PD seems to care about is their own, we have to like it or lump it, so I might be lumping it the next title.

I'd say this seems a little dramatic and I highly doubt you really deleted it, i'm just saying, if GT5 was that bad for you why worry about GT6?

True, but I have more confidence in the release date this time, because of what Kaz said about GT6 not taking as long to make since it's built off of GT5's foundation is proving true so far.

I really deleted the game data from my PS3. It may seem dramatic, but with GT6 coming in just a number of months, I just don't see the point in keep GT5 on my hard drive anymore, especially when I already lost enjoyment in it a long time ago. I have other games to keep busy until then. Besides, even if I kept the GT5 data, I probably wouldn't play it again since GT6 will have better physics and all cars from GT5. GT5 may not have turned out the best for me, but that doesn't mean GT6 will be the same way. We'll just have to see what PD has at the Sony press conference tonight.

But to keep things on topic, car collecting in itself was still pretty fun. It at least gave me a reason to do seasonal events. I remember that one B-spec event in GT500 cars at Spa which easily allowed me to buy the X2010 in every color.

More so if you got so bored that quick what makes you think GT6 will be so much better when its just what GT5 should of been, it wont be all that different..

Don't make it sound like you have just re-invented the wheel here or something. Those cars can be re-created rather easily. So easy in fact, a 5 year old could do it. Also, don't make it sound like its something that you came up with because its not.
