Viper GTS fully boosted

1'12.256

If anyone is able too beat that with the same car, I'll practice more in GT3!

dunno, but i reckon they should bring back laguna seca reverse

if i remember correctly it was somewhere in GT2 and i remember doing the corkscrew uphill, that was cool!

in GT3 im forced to just time trial myself and go the 'wrong way'. that kinda sucks

or maybe im just being stupid and laguna seca II never existed... im pretty sure it did though, and it was good...

ah but question mr deap. did you go through the pitlane or not?

i can get sub 1:15 quite easily going through the pits, but without doing so my best is 1:14:536...

I never tried the pit... I wonder if it make faster time...

If you have doubt of that time, you can always show your record in other forums. Before I was doing some league in the GameFAQS board. There's a lot of pretty fast driver there.

i dont doubt ur time i just need hints on how to go faster, thats all! :D

what kind of car setup do u run for those times?

paul

ok (I have to wrote down all the number & word for the setup again).

I will make it as soon as possible.

Hi Guys:
:D Just ran 3 laps in a GT-R V-Spec(R34-J) that I already had. Obviously set up for a longer straight as it just ticks into 6th before turn #1. Best clean lap 1'14.954.
QUESTION: How much different is this than the Car you guys are running, or is it the same??? Thanx...UB57
:D
Changed the Auto Set & dropped to 1'14.911, don't think I can do much better w/AT & Wheel 'till I manage to "Tame" the rear-end a bit...UB57

just tried that setting, i can't get below 1:15 with that. clearly im doing something wrong or i've forgotton how to grip-drive! hehe

im sticking to drift. im sure i can get under 1:14 or maybe even 1:13 with it muahahahaha

and deap, i dont have a team oreca viper so i cant test out ur time. oh **** unless i won it in arcade mode....

By the way, the time I gave up there is the Viper GTS!

Here my Oreca tiime(1'07.605), but I did it a long time ago, now I'm pretty rusted...

Here the sector time if you want to check where you're slow with the skyline.(use the right click on your mouse)

thanks deap, will check the sector times tonight

and bondy, i think mine was 1072 whilst broken in, but then it slumped back down again after a while

i resorted back to my settings that induce drift. in fact i had hiked up the height of my car and on the first lap i was cruising along without even thinking about the corners just testing my setting and i destroyed my previous time with a 1:14:111. i couldnt beleive it. but then with the help of ur sector times i saw that i was losing out heavily (over half a second) on the final corner. so after fixing that slightly i pulled a 1:13:832. which im quite pleased with heh. but there is still room for improvement like u said.

looking at your sector times though deep, it seemed that i could clear corners quicker but you'd have faster times in the straights even though with the settings u posted, you had slower straight line acceleration. this leads me to think that you brake MORE than i do before a corner but heavily cut it and are able to accelerate for longer, is this the case or you you maintain all 4 wheels on the tarmac at all times?

so, 1:13:832, anyone daring to go faster?! :D

paul

Like I said, I'm rusted, cause usually I take the maximum traction of the car while doing my laps

i fear mugen power might be referring to the instance of "oreca" that appeared in this thread, but the R34 i drive is definitely not race modified.

OK, there's three type of Viper; RT/10, GTS & GTS-R

Only the GTS-R(Oreca) is a racing car. so just ignore the oreca time.

The Viper GTS is a road car.

(Don't worry, they are GT3 times)
