Really. Let's nevermind the fact that the C12 is a Corvette, one that is modified to be better and faster than the base car, much like how RUFs are far superior to Porches, while essentially being the same car (only tuned).

thats because Chevy Rules!
Please refrain from making pointless posts like this. You've been warned before. If if you don't take the hint NOW, we're going to fix it so we will never have to warn you again. Is that clear enough?

[edit] NOTE: In another thread, I made a simple request to Toronado that he reduce the font size of his signature. This was not a critical matter, but notice that he was courteous enough to fix it within minutes of me making the request. You've been told directly to stop making pointless posts, by more than one staff member, and yet you're still not getting the message. Get it this time.

Any car with the wrong exhaust note. I.e. Z06, C5-R (which I am especially disappointed with.), GTO, both Holdens and the list goes on and on and on and on and ... well you get the point.

because they were afraid of the almighty Corevette.
BWAHAHAHAHHAHSHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA... funny...
Maybe you totally miss the over all point. Besides if Chevy is the best company ever, why was GM doing sooo poorly...

the cizeta(spelling) is evil. I think someone cut the brake lines.

I agree, it's like that, but it's because so much weight from the rear of the car is coming in that causes insane inertia that makes it harder to stop short.

I tell you, the Jaguar-XJ9 with hard rear tires and soft front tires and no draiving aids is crazy. You'll end up spinning you limbs off with that 974Hp carousel.

Thats evil, you'll even end spinning out on a straight.:dunce:

The Callaway was in GT3? I've never seen it.
I saw C12 and I thought Pagani. My apologies but they butchered both cars either way.

Almost. The C12 is much like a Ruf. It starts life on a chassis more than an actual built car.

Starting life as a Corvette C5 Coupe Chassis, the C12 is built around it. Being Callaway is a big engine builder, I suspect they are the power plant of the C12.
The Callaway C12 is 1 of 2 cars recognized fully as a Callaway. The name C12 has no meaning but being the 12th project from Callaway. The C12 ended production in 2002 after a 4 year run with a LeMans built version having been produced as well in the duration.
Callaway currently builds the Z06R GT3 car with 6 built for the 2006 season.
One of the neater things is the company is German based, not American despite the heavy Chevrolet-support.

"Chevy" has always excel'd ( spelling?) at low dollar performance. Even the corvette's qualify for this designation. Drop the name Callaway on anything and watch the price tag go ballistic.

Why is everybody hating on the Cizeta? It's a good handiling car, but it requires a little finesse to drive it, it's brakes are decent too.

The only car in GT4 that still gets my blood boiling is the RUF CTR2, I swear this car is afraid of lateral grip, that's why it plows like a farmer in a cornfield. It also spins one rear wheel under hard cornering, like it has a open differential. A six-figure car shouldn't have the same driving habits as a stock AE86. (non-LSD one)

The Cizeta I can handle after a few laps running to get used to it...the Nardo however...that's something different all together

The Nardo IMO is one of the best cars in the game! It's like the Cien except a little bit slower and is ultra-easy to control, plus it looks pretty cool with the sweet orange color and black glass over the engine.

One car in GT4 that seriously commands the full skill of the driver is the Lancia Delta S4. This (well, like any other Group B monster) is meant for experienced drivers and/or people who have a death wish. Throwing conventional driving techniques out the window is strongly recommended for getting the most out of the car, because this car (again, like any other Group B) will never obey conventional driving habits. (except maybe left-foot braking, Blomquvist-Style! :sly:) Another thing to be wary of is the immense power from the Turbocharger/Supercharger combo at low RPM, when you're taking a sharp corner, NEVER take your foot.. er thumb completely off the gas, and always keep it roughly above 5000 RPM, because if you don't, you'll be doing 360's to the finish line. And of course, have fun!

The CTR2 isn't much different in PGR3 either, besides the more arcade handling. The R Turbo or RT12 are much better choices. They still have RR characteristics, but are way more predictable than they are in GT4. (by they I mean RR Rufs)

Too bad the R Turbo and RT12 aren't in GT4. I also played PGR3 Briefly, and I must say, the handling is too arcadey for my taste, the Yellowbird drove too much like a Elise on steroids. (not a bad thing per se, but not exactly realistic) But the engine sounds are absolutely orgasmic.

Just wondering, slower?
The Nardo shifts faster (just a little bit) and it also goes 280mp/h+ or 455km/h+ at the Mullsanne straight, the Cien goes around 460kmh, both without altered gear settings. (Except auto)

I love the Nardo too, but its not equippable with wing and spoiler.:grumpy:

i think fwd cars are evil, then you give them more then 300HP.

fwd cars suck (except the orginal mini)

other then fwd cars, there hasn't been a car i can't master

Try the Mitsubischi FTO GP version R fully tuned with about 370+Hp, drives like a dream compared to other fwd's. Its fun beating Zondas and Saleens with a fwd FTO.:dopey:

This has nothing to do with tuning a car, but definitely an evil car is the Dihatsu midget. if you race it against other cars, it won't go fast enough to overtake. It won't go fast enough. Slow cars aren't bad but that car is. avoid at all costs:grumpy:

The Midget is deadly in the right hands, I used to rally with one. (in the game, of course)

Never count the old, slow cars out, If a AE86 Levin can get a 7:36.235 at the 'Ring on DOT-legal tires, then anything's possible. :)

I would have to say the most evil car in GT4 is the Chaparral 2J. Handles like garbage, WAY too light in the front because the engine is located in the back, and when on Le Sarthe 1 or 2 it has a habit of the hitting the wall :dunce:during the long straight when trailing behind a vehicle (making it have no downforce what-so-ever) after going over a bump. I'm never driving this car again.

Yet if this this thread is about drivetrain, then the evil cars would FR cars because they waist their front tires badly because they push and pull the car and take all the weight when braking.

These are my hated cars in the game...sorry to those who are FR fans and a 2J fan

Personally my least favourite car in the game that I would say is evil is the Cizeta V6 just for the reason that I seem to get constant understeer - even in the straights. I have tried everything that I can change on the car but just can't seem to get it to handle well. When I get rid of the understeer it just gets oversteer and the thing is terrible to drive. I work on cars for a living and build suspension products as well at work and I can set up any other car I have in the game, it is just that one that I can't do anything with.
