Re-sits:

English - A
Science - A
Maths (Foundation) - C

Better than the E, D and D, respectively, that I got in 2004.

I'm chuffed with those. Though I would have got an A* in Science were it not for my inabilities in the practical.

Get in! 7 C's and a B :D

happy with that.
Only 1 Mark away from a B in maths.

Well done also, nice improvements 👍

Fell short by 1-2% in maths engineering and english.

THAT is a giant boot in the gonads.

On a slightly brighter side I got 2 b's and 4 C's in other subjects. NOt gonna make up for the shortfalls in maths and english though. Damn that is not good :(

You need those for the motoring college? Don't get too down about them. If you need to re-take them, then do it. 1 year doesn't make a big difference. Don't waste away your dream. Going back to college at 20, isn't exactly fun.

I didn't see anything about showing what marks I actually got. Just the grades. Though I did know about the Science 'A', because we kept getting the results after each module and the practical.

Seriously, I hope inabilities in practicals don't stay, otherwise I'm screwed as a chef, aren't I?

I dont 'require' them for the college. They were impressed with my interview and put it as 'unconditional' as to whether they offered me the place. However I know I'll get sod all elsewhere for jobs and higher education places. I know most colleges can sort retakes, of which I will be trying to do with Maths especially, It's not as if I have to learn a year's worth of new maths, I already know it all and would just have to recap it whilst revising amongst my college days off (3 day course).

This is actually mentally torturing me now. I just need to get to College now and see what their plan is because at the minute I'm never going to get a job or anything.
Sucks to be me eh.
This is easily the most disheartened and depressed I've ever been. I dont even feel like moving.

A friend of mine managed to get straight D's and she still got into the courses she wanted. All hope is not lost, bud. ;)

Thanks man. I've definitely learned my lesson. Any coursework is going to be done straight away from now on.

Urgh...... I hate discussing about this.

Anyways, I'm now just a few months away from SPM and next week I will have the SPM trial exam. (started last Wednesday, but all of them are not the subjects that I have elected) The first exam for me will be Bahasa Melayu. :banghead: and the exam would last for a whole month I really hate studying for my exams and would usually do just some quick revision prior to the exam on that day. I don't even want to discuss about my past exam marks...... :indiff:

So like for those who don't really know what SPM is, its something like the British GCSE.

Well not to double post or bump this thread or anything, just want to update on my current status.....

Tomorrow will be the start of, what could be said "the most important exam of my life!" as this will determine where I would be going once the exam is finished. As for the results I don't think I want to even discuss about it since I think I just flung my trial exam...... :guilty: The exam will be from 11 November till 2 December, and there will be a couple of breaks between them. I just don't want to think about this exam even being existed cause it doesn't even prove anything for me, I mean why do exams exists in the first place anyhow? Its not like we couldn't live without taking the exam, and yet everyone (including my parents) said it is very important exam that would determine your life, whether you will become successful or not, bla bla bla bla bla...... Just look at the kids in Africa or the kids in third world countries. They could very well live their lives without studying (but yeah, then again they aren't living a "perfect" life either :indiff:)

Anyways, if anyone here want to wish me luck for my exams I would really appreciate it. 👍 But I just don't know if I should even deserve it with the way I am right now.......

FYI: I will be online and will visit GTP often as I always do. Hopefully visiting GTP often would relieve me of my stress and pressure of studying and the exams......

Good luck, you sound like you'll need it! Dont worry too much, get a good bit of study done today, dont check back here too often, and get to bed early enough so as you are fully fit for tomorrow. Theres not much else to it, I dont really know what you are studying so I cant help with it, but I'm sure worry a lot is only going to do you harm, just calm down and start properly studying by forgetting about everything else, switch off your PC and Playstation and whatever else can distract you, its only for a few weeks, you'll survive without checking on them all the time. Good luck again.
